Even on a hilltop in Ecuador, you can't get away from @Beathhigh

Off to the Galapagos today. Looking forward to the variation seen in a certain type of bird.

It's nearly 2.30pm here and afternoon plans include going piranha fishing then taking a ride up in a box being lifted by this crane.

And a bit more aracari. I like them.

Yet more absurd heights and wobbly legs - the canopy walkway @sacha_lodge is three towers nearly 100 ft high connected by a walkway 300 yards long. The views are spectacular

Yesterday afternoon was a climb to the top of a tower above the canopy - nearly 50 metres up. Incredible views.

The first part of this morning's entertainment was a boat trip to see a parrot lick - where the birds gather to eat nutrients from the soil. Different breeds lick in separate groups, like the England football team in the 2000s

And thirdly, we took part in a project run by the local Huaorani people to reintroduce river turtles. I got to meet the little fellow before I released him or her into the River Napo

It's 5.15 am in the jungle. The early mornings irk a bit, but you can't knock last night's sunset.

Had some help to spot Pygmy Marmosets, the world's smallest monkey. Probably. The video was all my own work.
