LULA WINS!
A huge victory for the workers of Brazil, for the left globally, for the planet, for peace over war.
He has defeated the US & its corrupt lackeys, Big Tech & Trump.
What has just happened in Brazil could happen across the world: the forces of justice, equality, peace & antiracism can defeat our corrupt, mendacious, racist, warmongering political establishments.

“MP Helen Haines had barely arrived at the Wangaratta hospital’s emergency wing last week when News24, the Murdoch newspapers and The Nightlybegan their frenzied attacks against Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.”

BREAKING: IRAN FM SPOX BAGHAEI CALLS OUT MARCO RUBIO
”Marco Rubio, accusing Iran of attacking ships، said: “We haven’t seen anything like this since World War II and the pirates of the Caribbean.”
U.S. President, on 1 May 2026, boasting about seizing commercial ships and confiscating oil cargoes: “we’re like PIRATES. We’re sort of like PIRATES.”
Perhaps the president won’t be too pleased to learn that his secretary of state has so quickly forgotten his own proud claim of being like pirates.”
Lula's stunning victory in Brazil: "Hope for parties of inclusion, sustainability, & decency everywhere. Next #NZ?" @HelenClarkNZ
Incredible turnaround in #Brazil where voters came out to give #Lula a clear win in 2nd round of election. What a champion! This & #Serbian Student List win must give hope for parties of inclusion, sustainability, & decency everywhere. Next #NZ?

Someone who lies to cover up her country's role in aiding and abetting genocide (by sending arms and mercenaries to the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary in Sudan) should NEVER be UN secretary general. That's United Arab Emirates diplomat Lana Nusseibeh. xitter.cf/Amgad_Fareid/status/21…
In July 2024, Lana Nusseibeh publicly and categorically rejected the UN Panel of Experts’ findings of credible evidence that #UAE supports the atrocities and genocide committed by the Rapid Support Forces (#RSF) militia in Sudan.
Confronted on CNN, she declared: “No. Those allegations are categorically untrue.” Asked directly whether she disputed the UN experts’ findings, she replied: “Yes, absolutely.”
Now, Ms. Nusseibeh seeks to lead the very institution whose findings she so emphatically dismissed in defence of her government. How can she possibly be entrusted with that responsibility? The fundamental question is not whether Nusseibeh was entitled to defend her regime. It is whether someone who placed that defence above the credible findings of UN experts can genuinely be entrusted with upholding the independence, integrity, and authority of the United Nations.
Why should the world trust her judgment when the UN’s findings conflict with the interests of the very government that nominated her? The UN highest office is not for protecting a criminal regime from scrutiny and accountability. The seat of the UN Secretary-General should not be for sale!
The new report by the UN rapporteur on media in times of genocide is out - and the verdict on Western media is "ugly".

Two+yrs ago I said: " I long for the day there will be an investigation on the role of Western media in the genocide in Gaza".
From the very beginning many authoritative media have acted unprofessionally and irresponsible.
My last report proves there is more. And it's ugly.

Latin America has not fallen to the Monroe Doctrine yet.
The ‘B’ in BRICS resisted the will of Washington through mass mobilisation.
The US vassal candidate Flávio Bolsonaro was defeated. Lula Da Silva has triumphed.
Brazil will not go the way of Venezuela or Argentina.
Lula Da Silva has won Brazil’s🇧🇷 Presidential election.
Despite fierce US-Israel axis pressure, Brazil did not become the next Latin American country to fall to the revived Monroe Doctrine.
A major assault against the BRICS project has been thwarted.
Through popular resistance and mass mobilisation, the might and will of Washington’s empire of hypocrisy and barbarism can be thwarted.
Here is Lula in 1978, leading the metalworkers’ union strike against the US-backed fascist dictatorship, in which he secured wage increases. He was imprisoned by the dictatorship.

Brazilian President Lula:
I am very proud, first of all, because I am the only president of the Republic, a metalworker without a university degree, to have been democratically elected four times to lead this country.
In the world, we had Roosevelt, who was elected four times, but he was unable to complete his term because he had a very serious illness.
Now, little Lula will not want another term, but I will finish this term working harder than any of you.

🇵🇸💢 “We came to rebuild our country, the country they destroyed. Why are they attacking us here too?”: Israel strikes Gaza university twice, killing three
Israeli strikes hit the campus of the Islamic University in western Gaza City twice on Sunday, less than four hours apart, killing three university security guards and wounding several others, including students.
“Today, we were studying in class, minding our business, while the professor was explaining. Suddenly, an airstrike hit directly beneath us, a massive explosion,” Mohammed Qandil, an engineering student, told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah.
Qandil said he was attending a physics lecture when the strike hit directly beneath the classroom. “We came here to learn and get an education. We came to rebuild our country, the country they destroyed and devastated. Why are they attacking us here too?”
“All we're asking for is our right to education, nothing more. We don't want anything else. We just want our right to education.”

BREAKING: Workers' Party leader and incumbent president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has defeated far-right Senator Flávio Bolsonaro in Brazil's runoff election.
Flávio, son of ex-president Jair Bolsonaro, had clinched a first place victory over Lula on October 5 in the first round of elections. Since then, progressive movements had focused on intense street mobilization and outreach on social media in an effort to flip the vote.
In recent weeks, reports emerged that US tech giant META had been boosting Bolsonaro's content across platforms and deliberately restricting Lula's.
On election day, further interference in favor of Flávio was registered when right-wing leaders in several states considered progressive strongholds, intentionally cut or decreased transportation services, directly infringing on Brazilians' right to vote. In response, the electoral court extended voting for two hours.
Today's outcome marks a significant defeat of the pro-US far right in Latin America.
