Productive meeting with the City Manager and Fire Management yesterday for a more in depth look at the 2024 budget presentation.
Appreciate @slichterman , @derynrizzi and their team for requesting much needed investment to catch up for years of falling behind.

Tragic news today out of Montreal where a firefighter has died during a water rescue operation.
Sending thoughts and prayers never feels like enough to offer.
We mourn with our @ApmPompiersMtl brothers and sisters.

It’s National Drowning Prevention week.
Did you know that nearly 75% of drownings involving children happen at home — a sobering statistic, & one that is more relevant than ever this summer.
Stay alert & keep your family safe.

Starting next week, #Mississauga Firefighters are helping put out the ‘COVID-19 fire’ in our community. Our very own @IAFF1212 Firefighters have rolled out with @THP_hospital to get more vaccinations in the arms of our community.

The voice you hear when you call 911. They bring calm to chaos. Often forgotten, they're the true 1st responder's to every call. This week we recognize our Communication Operator’s and Officer’s for the vital role they play & the excellent work they do.
