In 1991, when I was the executive director of the Georgia Republican Party, I helped organize a bus trip to Washington to support the confirmation of our native son, Clarence Thomas of Pinpoint, Georgia. Yes, a very joyful date in history.
35 YEARS AGO TODAY, Justice Clarence Thomas officially joined the Supreme Court as an Associate Justice. What a JOYFUL date in history! He is our nation’s greatest Justice and an American Hero! Justice Thomas took his judicial oath on this date, administered by Chief Justice Rehnquist. He took his Constitutional oath, administered by Justice Byron White, on October 18th at the White House on the South Lawn. Here is an excerpt from his beautiful speech on that date: “Since that bright sunny day in Kennebunkport, July 1, there have been many difficult days as we all went through the confirmation battle - and I mean we all. But on this sunny day in October at the White House, there is joy, joy in the morning.” As Justice Thomas wrote in his memoirs, “I was alluding to Psalm 30, which had brought me much comfort in the recent weeks.” Justice Thomas quoted the verse in his book: “I will praise you, LORD, for you have rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me . . . Weeping may go on all night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30: 1,5 Read his gripping memoirs, My Grandfather’s Son, watch the terrific documentary, Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words, and the book of the same name, and read Senator @tedcruz terrific new book, Going Further, The Incomparable Clarence Thomas – all linked below. God Bless Justice Clarence Thomas!

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

I hit a nerve by suggesting the Democratic Party has become a vehicle for crazed ideologues who deny science. There is still debate as to the full extent human activity has driven climate change, but none as to whether men can get pregnant. The crazed reaction proves my point.

Ilhan Omar has denied marrying her brother, calling the "insinuation" a "disgusting lie" that is "absurd, offensive, absolutely false and ridiculous." When asked again tonight by MSNOW if there is even "a kernel of truth" to the allegation, she replied: "Not to my knowledge."

Peace threatens the interests that profit from continued conflict.
We now live in a world where advocating for peace is the most dangerous thing you could do… how ironic.

Progressives loved Russia when it was atheist and collectivist. They excused its abuses, rationalized its expansion and demanded disarmament against its threats. They even honeymooned there.

Ossoff is likely ahead but he has spent $90 million - nine times what Collins has spent - and is still under 50%. That is not a comfortable place for an incumbent.
NEW: The latest @AJC poll of the Georgia Senate race shows Jon Ossoff leading Mike Collins 48% to 40%. An eight-point Ossoff margin is the size Republican strategists worry could swamp the entire Republican ticket if it happens. ajc.com/politics/2026/10/ajc…
