Anton No Fuelsquale denied victory in #supercars #bathurst1000. One extra safety car lap though would have won it for him. Car racing in many ways reminds me of litigation: plan, prepare and strategise to the max, but if the luck’s against you………………….
🔥 KOSTECKI WINS BATHURST 1000 AFTER LEADER RUNS OUT OF FUEL
Brodie Kostecki and co-driver Todd Hazelwood have claimed victory in the 2026 Bathurst 1000 following a dramatic finish at Mount Panorama.
Anton De Pasquale had been leading the race but was desperately trying to conserve fuel in the closing laps, before reportedly running out and handing Kostecki a remarkable victory.
20 years after Darren Lockyer swooped in Origin 3 on an errant Brett Hodgson pass within defensive 20, @AllBlacks’ Jordan does the same to seal the win of game one of #bledisloecup. New Zealand far too good tonight. Congrats to them.
It’s a full bookend when you think about it: @brisbanelions played four grand finals in a row 2001-2004, winning the first three and losing the fourth. 2023-2026 losing the first and winning the second, third and fourth #aflgf #aflfreolions

#queensland vs #westernaustralia #sport rivalries are few and far between. 1987/88 shield cricket final more newsworthy for Ian Botham’s pre game arraignment before the Perth Magistrates Court! #aflgf #afldockerslions therefore stands to be the biggest ever contest.
Nothing controversial as the player’s own luck proved his ability to have released the ball. Correct umpiring decision under extreme pressure #aflhawkslions
David Topp retweeted
"THE CONTROVERSY IS GOING TO BE MASSIVE!"
Holding the ball is paid against Jarman Impey.
McCluggage drills the goal and Brisbane are in front with 18 seconds left!!!
#queensland has played #aflgf against teams from #victoria #southaustralia and #newsouthwales but never #westernaustralia. Will this change tonight ?? #AFLHawksLions

Imagine if #Carlton win #aflbluescats tomorrow night and play the loser of #AFLFreoHawks next Friday. Would be the first ever #AFLFinals match between teams 1 and 10. Who had that on their #afl bingo card for season 2026?
Most testamentary trust income streams are rentals of real properties and/or ASX share dividends. Not actual wage/salary incomes; family trusts are used to stream those. Thus, at 30%, the policy was never going to earn revenue sufficient to pay for #auspol's political heat
Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers have backflipped on their capital gains and trusts taxes, offering huge concessions to small businesses on CGT and removing taxes on discretionary trusts used to set up people’s wills. Follow live: bit.ly/4oCzqNh

Happy Queensland Day! And thankyou to the Queensland Premier David Crisafulli for joining us to celebrate the day!
And a huge thankyou to our outgoing event director Kelly!'
#NRLdolphinspanthers #nrl is this the first ever game where both teams are wearing their away strips?
Best rugby league pass at the #Adelaide Oval since State of Origin 2020!
"That is a flat-out throw!"
Carlton fans aren't thrilled tonight - blatant misses like this aren't helping...
