🚨Retiring Congressman Jerry Nadler will return home to New York under indictment for insurance fraud.
Nadler, who gained sympathy from his constituents when his Long Island home burned down on Christmas Eve in 2017, now stands accused of defrauding Allstate for more than $2 million.
"Congressman Nadler filed claims for several works of art, watches, and other high-value items that he still possesses," said Long Island District Attorney Malcom Reynolds. "Being a retired congressman doesn't make him above the law.
Reynolds says the grand jury is convening next week and should return several felony indictments by late December.
"His homecoming won't exactly be welcoming."

Michelle Obama has been ordered to repay a grant she received for maintaining the White House vegetable garden five years after she left the executive mansion.
The grant, approved by Joe Biden, was a $1.2 million cash grab, considering the garden had been torn out and replaced by First Lady Melania Trump in 2019.
DC District Court Judge Joseph Barron signed the order for Obama to repay the "obviously fraudulent" grant within 30 days and recommended the file be sent to the Justice Department for criminal review.
The fake grant was uncovered early last year during a DOGE audit of the Obama White House.

Trip to Walmart today, I saw
an elderly lady stocking shelves. She dropped an item, I picked it up for her. In a very feeble voice, she says thank you. I asked how old she was, in her late 80’s. We talked a minute or two, she is going through so much, trying to survive.
I gave her a $100 bill, told her to get something she needed.
Why is anyone this old, in the United States, working? Why do politicians insist on taking care of the rest of the world? I'll never understand it, they are suppose to work for us!
Something needs to change. All I see is no respect, no discipline, no morals, want everything free!
It's a damn shame! People wonder why I hate politicians so bad!
We need term limits, NOW!

As a season ticket holder, I’ve noticed the crowds have been lighter over the last two home games. Today, the boos were loud, the frustration was obvious, and plenty of fans headed for the exits early. 🏈🙈
The video I’m sharing was taken only halfway through the first quarter. That should tell you something.
And here’s the kicker: the Colts sent out invoices this weekend for next season’s tickets—with another price increase! 🤦♂️💰
Talk about bad timing. Asking fans to pay more while watching a team that’s struggling to meet expectations is a tough sell.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a significant number of season ticket holders decline to renew this week. At some point, loyalty has its limits, especially when the price keeps going up but the product on the field isn’t delivering.
Colts fans deserve better. We show up, we pay the bills, and we support this team. It’s time for the organization to give us something worth paying for. 🏈🔵⚪️

This police dog was sent in to end a standoff peacefully, and the suspect set him on fire.
Police say Saul Sandoval Chavez, 33, was smashing cars with a metal rod, then ran into a business and refused to come out while holding an incendiary device. Officers tried to talk him down first. When that failed, they sent in a K-9, the tool departments use to end standoffs without anyone getting shot. Chavez lit the device and set the dog on fire, and an officer opened fire. Officers gave him first aid, but he died at the hospital. Three officers burned their hands, and the K-9 needed treatment for burns. A police dog is trained to take the risk so officers and suspects don’t have to, and in California, hurting one is a crime of its own.
Should attacking a police K-9 carry the same penalty as attacking an officer?
