🎉 Great to get this out. Fantastic effort from all our co-authors. Our latest research developing the sodium iodide symporter as an in vivo metabolic sensor for PET imaging. Check it out 👇
🆕Paper by Piotr Dzien, @kblyth1, @DavidYLewis and colleagues proposes PET imaging of the sodium iodide symporter (NIS) as an in vivo testing method for metabolic treatments targeting energetic pathways to rapidly determine metabolic drug potency

Great to see this highlighted by @NatureBiotech.
The key point for me is the ability to image both the forest and the trees, so tracking cancer across the body, then zooming in to study tumour cells, their microenvironment and how disease evolves in context.
