The best recent piece I have read (by @carolecadwalla) on how social media platforms are weaponising the information landscape like never before, and how this is fuelling more and more trenchant populist authoritarian impulses and violence.

A huge privilege to support @WorkUp__ and the amazing @SarahLHarkins working class representation is often overlooked as an issue but even entering a building like @SpotlightUK for the first time can feel intimidating for some, that's why everyone gets a big welcome here.
WorkUp… @SarahLHarkins has created an incredible movement to improve working class representation in the arts and media.
Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about this.
It was such a privilege to be at last night’s launch event #RegionalMixer @SpotlightUK
Let’s change this…
“Just 16% of people in creative jobs are from working-class backgrounds, and those from privileged backgrounds are more likely to shape what goes on stage, page and screen.”

Flawless.
Still haunted from seeing the revival of Beautiful Thing @LeedsPlayhouse this weekend. The cast of 5 were exceptional. A stunning play by @JOJEHARVEY with each character so beautifully crafted. Bravo @SimpsonPike @isabellaodoffin
