Bad news for Russia. Good news for Ukraine and Europe. The European company Destinus has ramped up serial production of its "Ruta Block 1" cruise missile. According to the company, 1,750 units have been completed, with a monthly production rate approaching 300 units (as of late October 2026). 📍 Production: Primarily in the Netherlands (including proprietary T150 engines, airframes, and avionics). An expansion in collaboration with Rheinmetall in Unterlüß (Germany) is planned. 🇺🇦 Ukraine: Confirmed—the missiles are being supplied and are currently in service. President Zelenskyy confirmed their use in combat operations in 2025 (with ranges exceeding 250 km). The Netherlands is funding approximately 700 units. Debris has been reported in Russia. 🚀 Block 1 Specifications: Range >300 km, payload ~150 kg. Features low-altitude flight, terrain-following capabilities, and operates independently of GNSS. Future variants: Block 2 (>700 km) and a planned Block 3 (up to 2,000 km). European-scale production, free from Chinese components—with a monthly output now exceeding what Europe produced annually prior to 2022.

🔥 -10% of Russian oil refining in 3 days, - Dnipro Osint Ukraine made concessions and refrained from attacking Russian refineries for two weeks at the request of the US presidential administration. Russia, however, did not stop its terror. The total annual capacity of the three attacked refineries - Kstovsky, Novokuybyshevsk and Bashneft-Novoil - is about 33 million tons of oil, or 10% of all oil refining capacity in Russia. The attacks are large-scale: several technological installations, including primary and secondary oil processing, fail in one strike.

Arabian Peninsula: Recent Houthi attempts to advance southeastward from Taiz Governorate into Lahij Governorate may indicate that the Houthis are attempting to set conditions to besiege or capture Aden City. Yemeni government-aligned forces reportedly recaptured areas west of Jabal Kahbub, Lahij Governorate, on October 29.
New: Iran is deploying various weapons systems, including limpet mines, to attempt to disrupt shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and disrupt global energy markets in order to pressure the United States into a diplomatic settlement that favors Iran. Iranian forces used fast attack craft (FAC) to place and detonate two limpet mines on the hull of Panama-flagged oil tanker Louise 1 on October 29. This incident marks Iran’s first successful detonation of a limpet mine to target a vessel in this conflict. (1/2)

🚨 FBI confirms: North Korea was behind the biggest cryptocurrency theft in history The FBI has officially blamed North Korean hackers from the TraderTraitor group for the Binance hack and the theft of $6.3 billion in cryptocurrency. According to the FBI, the hackers have already begun converting the stolen assets into Ethereum and may use cryptocurrency exchanges to launder the funds. The agency has urged crypto platforms to block transactions linked to the hackers. Donald Trump, however, questioned whether North Korea, led by his old buddy Kim Jong Un, was behind the attack. “We don't know. We're investigating it,” Trump said.
🚨 BREAKING: The biggest cryptocurrency heist in history has hit Binance! The total losses are estimated at around $6.3 billion So far, about $3 billion in stolen assets has been located. The exchange has provided no information on the whereabouts of the remaining $3.3 billion, Reuters reports. Everything is going to hell: Bitcoin has plunged, and Ethereum has also dropped in value. The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange said it was working with partners to freeze the affected assets. According to preliminary reports, hackers may have gained access by compromising one of the engineers' laptops.

The Trump administration does not plan to recognize Flávio Bolsonaro as Brazil’s rightful leader despite helping him flee to the U.S. after his election defeat. Trump approved his entry on humanitarian grounds after adviser Jason Miller helped arrange his flight from Argentina. Bolsonaro initially declared himself “the elected president” before changing his claim to Brazil’s rightful “leader.” Trump remains reluctant to damage relations with President Lula, whom he says he likes. Bloomberg: Pentagon chief could face impeachment after US midterm elections US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth could face impeachment proceedings following the midterm congressional elections scheduled for November 3. According to Bloomberg, the factors behind the move include the stalemate in the war with Iran, scandals at the Pentagon and declining approval ratings for Donald Trump’s administration. The initiative has support from representatives of both major US political parties. Hegseth’s opponents say they want to hold the entire Trump administration accountable for the unpopular war in Iran.

Today, I was officially received into the Orthodox Church through Chrismation. For a long time, I haven't been the best Christian, and strangely enough, I think the time I was closest to God was during my captivity. While I was a prisoner, I made a small cross out of what was left of the shoelaces they had cut off me. I kept that cross with me throughout my captivity and prayed every single day. At a time when I had very little left, my faith was one of the few things I could hold on to. But after my release, my mental health took a turn for the worse, and somewhere along the way, I lost that connection with God. It's taken me a long time to find my way back, but the birth of my daughter has given me a new perspective on life and, more importantly, helped me rediscover my faith. I know I still have a lot to learn, and I'm far from being a perfect Christian, but today felt like an important step in the right direction.

MORE: Rezaei’s views are consistent with the Iranian official view, which demands that the United States first implement Iran’s conditions, including lifting the US naval blockade, releasing Iranian frozen assets, and recognizing Iran’s claimed authority over the Strait of Hormuz. IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported on October 29 that Iran had not yet responded to the letter and still considers any departure from its seven conditions “unacceptable.”
NEW: Iran is unlikely to respond positively to a recent US letter proposing comprehensive direct negotiations. A senior US official and an Iranian official told the New York Times on October 28 that US Vice President JD Vance sent Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary Major General Mohsen Rezaei a letter through Qatari mediators that proposed comprehensive direct negotiations. Rezaei recently reiterated hardline negotiating positions, which were demands that the United States end the war on all fronts, release frozen assets, and lift the naval blockade before negotiations over anything else resume. These views are consistent with official Iranian state positions. (1/2)
