John Kavanagh announces that he's officially joined @ki_mmaofficial alongside Scott Coker and Rich Chou in an ambassador role:
“They offered me a type of ambassador role, if you will. Basically, whatever needs to be done, I get done.
Over these last couple of decades, I've built up a good network, especially in Europe, but really around the world too. Whether it's helping out with getting fighters, helping out with venues, whatever needs to be done, I'm there to help."

🚨 I uploaded “The McCarthy Monday” show on @WeighingIn where @JohnMcCarthyMMA talks @ki_mmaofficial rule request to add knees to a grounded opponent and how forward thinking @ScottCoker has always been in his career as a promoter

We have most recently heard @Jon_Anik on @anikflorianpod talk about the importance of the sport continuing to evolve with things like, new gloves, open scoring, etc. @ScottCoker is leading that charge with what most people want….. KNEES TO THE HEAD OF A GROUNDED OPPONENT

An appreciation and full understanding of ki (also known as chi or qi) as we continue to lay the foundation for @ki_mmaofficial
Japan has always been part of the soul of martial arts. 🇯🇵
That’s why the meaning behind Ki/気 matters so much to us.
Energy. Spirit. Life force. The power that comes from within.
From the legacy of Antonio Inoki to the artistry of Japanese calligraphy, there is a history and meaning here that goes far beyond a logo.
As we build the future of @ki_mmaofficial, we’re proud to carry a piece of that spirit with us.
日本の皆さん、これからよろしくお願いします。

Inspired by this passion and excited to see the new product.
I used to pray for times like this…
Picture this: I am on a plane to Tbilisi, having just spent 9 magical months in NZ, 36000 ft up in the air, streaming the @arielhelwani show live in full HD (technology has come a loooong way), as he announces that I have joined the team as a writer of The Uncrowned Newsletter, which launches in a week. If this isn’t the most incredibly surreal moment of my life… it’s TOP 3 for sure.
I am so extremely grateful to Ariel and @shaunalshatti for trusting me with this huge opportunity and giving me a chance to work alongside the absolutely phenomenal team of @uncrownedcombat. Can’t wait to start, can’t wait to earn my stripes, can’t wait to see what this project becomes ❤️🔥

This is excellent on-brand graphic design for a fight in Albuquerque, and I know @EricRaskin will appreciate it:

Ian Happ put $300 on a baseball and threw it to the Wrigley bleacher creatures to grab some beers in what could be his final games as a member of the Cubs
How a’bout ‘dat at bat from Mookie Wilson? Fighting off pitch after pitch. Raising the temp on Buckner and the Sox defense so that a weak ground ball could find the outfield. A miracle.
I’m watching Packers @ Jets but hearing Minn @ Chi audio on Fox NFL Sunday. Very strange. The audio is somehow overlapping onto the wrong game B’cast. @FOXSportsPR
