Uniswap × Hyperliquid
This cycle, it's hard to ignore having both $UNI and $HYPE in the portfolio :)
@Enter_Elysium just announced that @Uniswap will soon be available on its network, opening the way for an L2 architecture designed to solve gas congestion on Hyperliquid.
- If you don't know, Elysium is an L2 that uses Nitro/ArbOS technology but settles on HyperEVM and uses $HYPE as its native token.
- Uniswap V3 liquidity for $UNI on Elysium is expected to act as the initial launchpad, paired with $HYPE.
- The idea is to create a flow that moves tokens from AMM pools straight onto Hyperliquid's spot and perpetual order books.
Unlike typical L2s, Elysium runs co-located with HL. This allows smart contracts to read prices and send orders directly into HyperCore's engine within 100ms, without an intermediate oracle.

Excited to work with Payward to forge a path for onchain derivatives built on Hyperliquid's infrastructure. Kraken is one of the most trusted and respected exchanges in crypto. They are also true believers in the technology and crypto ethos. We're honored that they are building on Hyperliquid to bring the next evolution of perpetual markets to the United States.
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts.
HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback.
Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

Hyperliquid is bigger than an exchange. It’s infrastructure for the next generation of on-chain finance.
Like Linux or the internet, its real power lies in enabling builders to create, innovate, and serve users on a shared foundation.
The goal is not to compete
Jeff Yan: Hyperliquid Is More Like the Internet or Linux Than a Traditional Exchange
Hyperliquid Labs co-founder Jeff Yan @chameleon_jeff said at DAS Asia 2026 on October 7 that Hyperliquid should not simply be viewed as a competitor to any particular exchange. He noted that Hyperliquid was initially compared to DeFi protocols, then major crypto exchanges, and now even traditional giants like CME and Nasdaq, yet none is a perfect comparison.
Yan argued that Hyperliquid is more like the internet or Linux, providing neutral public infrastructure rather than building multiple systems that serve the same purpose. He emphasized that the Hyperliquid community is not trying to replace existing platforms, but hopes to empower them with technology that helps them better serve their users.

AQAv2’s 30-day cycle is coming to an end, with the yield expected to be sent to the Assistance Fund on November 2.
The average total USDC supply across HyperCore and HyperEVM reached $7,177.5M over the past 30 days, up from $6,925.5M in the previous 30-day period, representing a 3.6% increase.
This should result in an estimated $15,105,684.65 transfer to the Assistance Fund, averaging $503,522.82 per day, or approximately $183.79M annually.
