Has taken me awhile, but am finally getting to a point where I'm really comfortable with my tech stack. Things are working well.
>Outlook/Teams for email/cal/mtgs (Gmail sucks for enterprise imo)
>@DealNav for tracking deals
>@meetgranola for note-taking
>Early/Timeular for time tracking
>Claude connected to everything
Mobile/cloud versions of everything so I can still work from my phone.
I prolly still have a lot more I could be doing but it's starting to feel good

How’d I do ?
🤖 Made with AI
Many years ago I ran marketing for a consumer app company.
We spent over $100 million testing ads and landing pages. We tried literally thousands of things and TWO tactics stood out:
1) Attractive women beat everything. We tested hundreds of images and the winner was always... a hot woman. Our perennial champion was Scandinavian.
2) The "buy button" can never be too big. We kept testing bigger and bigger buttons to the point of absurdity and the click rates only went up.
These two rules still apply today.
(@aussieflya, this one is for you.)

In CRE, location isn’t just a data point - it’s the story behind every deal.
That’s why map-based workflows are essential. 🗺️
Teams want to see their pipeline, comps, owners and brokers visually - not buried in rows and columns. A map reveals things a spreadsheet will never tell you:
• That new deal sitting one block from the site you bled over seven years ago 🩸
• The pockets of your market where you’re winning (green pins) vs. getting smoked (red pins) 📍
• The broker you haven’t talked to in ages…whose office is literally across the street from your lunch tomorrow. 🏙️
If you work in real estate and still live in rows and columns, you’re playing with one eye closed.
Founder content tip:
You need to be an expert in the PROBLEM, not the expert in your SOLUTION.
If you're writing content from the perspective of your solution, you will bore people to death and get zero followers/engagement from it.
If you write content from the perspective of problems your target audience constantly faces, you will resonate and go "niche viral" way more often

Most @DealNav members are small/medium sized shops running their company’s entire pipeline thru our platform.
But lately the growth is coming from large companies - one off teams covering certain asset classes or geographies.
This is exciting to me. Because they are large cos like…
- Brookfield
- CBRE
- DR Horton
- JLL
- Marcus
- Mill Creek
- Newmark
- Related
- Walker & Dunlop
- Greystone

This is why at @DealNav we’re not trying to compete with the products that “find” owner contact info - where you have to pay for credits whether AI delivers on the skip tracing or not.
We’re focused on your proprietary data instead. Contact info being hard to find isn’t a bug, it’s why the dataset you’ve built over your career is worth something.
