What a fantastic workshop @btonbookfest with @rmcfarlane63 and @AfloPoet. Oh, there was also a little experience from Marvin Gaye...#writingcommunity #iamwriting #poetrywriters #Brighton #poetry

Feeling nostalgic as I look out to where my father and grandfather used to work. Scenes like these inspired some of my work this term #northeastlandscapes #placesinourpast

Having a wonderful and nostalgic time being in the North East. I love my home towns and the physical sense of belonging I have when I'm here. A snapshot of Saltburn where I spent a lot of time as a child. So many memories.

What a great evening, talking about the wonder of writing & reading, hosted by @CindyEtherton4 & @victoriarobson founders of Real Writers Circle Brighton. Great Q&A with @samuelburr & @tanyabyrne #wonder #writingcommunity #readingcommunity #realwriters @brightfest

Delighted to have a piece of flash fiction in this lovely anthology by creative writing students. Mine is An Extra Hour. If you want to know what happens on a night shift when the clocks go back, have a read. #flashfiction #anextrahour #creativewritingBrighton #writingcommunity

So, have a sneak preview now, or wait till tomorrow, and you can download it to your Kindle. Thanks to @LouiseTondeur #iamwriting #writingcommunity #Flashfiction #anextrahour @Uni_English

And that was my Monday gone. Started and finished this brilliant book #CityonFire from @gbpoliceadvisor. It was a tense read and led me to ignoring family, dogs, dinner. It always feels strange to finish a book I've been reading all day #CrimeFiction #crimereader #writer

Exciting project with @KemptownBkshop. Memories of a bookshop & favourite books. What's your favourite book, when did you buy it, what are your memories of this Brighton bookshop. #communitywriters #kemptownbookshop #brighton #readers #Brightonwriters @Real_Writers_ #bookshops
