DAVE RAMSEY CHALLENGES A 21-YEAR-OLD WOMAN FOR IGNORING HER BOYFRIEND’S RED FLAGS BECAUSE SHE’S AFRAID OF ENDING UP ALONE. A 21-year-old woman called in for advice about moving to Texas with her boyfriend, but her story quickly raised serious concerns. She had saved thousands of dollars for their future, while her boyfriend worked just 20 hours a week and refused to discuss his financial situation with her. Dave warned her against putting her future on hold for a man who wasn’t willing to be transparent about his finances. But things took an emotional turn when she admitted that, despite all the red flags, she was afraid to leave because he treated her wonderfully and she worried she might never find someone else. Dave wasn’t convinced. His response? “He actually doesn’t treat you wonderfully.” Should a woman risk her financial future for love, or is fear of being alone making her ignore the red flags?

Jerry Seinfeld reveals his four favorite Seinfeld episodes of all time. Jerry Seinfeld: “Okay, my four, not in chronological order. And I actually gave this a little thought.” Host: “Wow. Did you do a little work? What thoughts did you give it?” Jerry Seinfeld: “I gave it some thought.” Host: “Did you watch any?” Jerry Seinfeld: “No, I don’t need to watch it. I did them. I was there.” “The Contest. The Soup Nazi. The Merv Griffin Show, because I love that premise. And the Marine Biologist.” Host: “Wow. Do you want to go over how those came to be?” Jerry Seinfeld: “The Contest doesn’t require an explanation. The Soup Nazi doesn’t either. Just the idea of the word ‘Nazi’ in the episode, it’s a Jewish show. It was just such a great, fun thing to do.” “The Marine Biologist, that was the best story tie-in finish to an episode we ever did. Jason’s speech at the end makes that.” Larry David: “Yeah, that’s true.” Jerry Seinfeld: “And the Merv Griffin Show, because Kramer finds the Merv Griffin set in a dumpster and sets it up in his apartment. So just based on that one sentence, enough said.” “They’re all high-concept shows.” “I toyed with The Boyfriend and The Merv Griffin Show. I kind of went back and forth because I really liked The Boyfriend.” Host: “Yo, that’s a penalty. You can’t mention the fifth one. You can only say what you said.” Jerry Seinfeld: “I’m just conversing. It’s a podcast.”

Jennifer Lawrence reveals she received some of the nastiest backlash of her life for saying she was Team Jeremiah in The Summer I Turned Pretty. Alex Cooper: “Were you Team Peeta or were you Team Gale?” Jennifer Lawrence: “I was Team Gale. Even after he killed my sister.” Alex Cooper: “Still rooting for him?” Jennifer Lawrence: “Yeah.” Alex Cooper: “Do you think that will cause controversy on the internet?” Jennifer Lawrence: “I can’t say, because I said that I was Team Jeremiah during The Summer I Turned Pretty, and the level of hate that I got was bigger than any controversy I’ve ever been involved in in my life.” Alex Cooper: “Talk to me about that.” Jennifer Lawrence: “I feel like I was just rage-baiting slightly, because I did it with my friends. It was just like, ‘I like Jeremiah,’ and they’d be like, ‘Ah!’ I thought it was innocent.” “People were like, ‘You should die. You should die.’” Alex Cooper: “It is wild to insert yourself in that, especially who you are.” Jennifer Lawrence: “Oh, so you agree with them?” Alex Cooper: “No! I’m just shocked that you just sling it out there like, ‘Oh, I’m just going to tell you what I think.’” Jennifer Lawrence: “How on earth would I have assumed that such a thing would cause such a reaction? I’ve pissed off the public many, many times. I’ve been famous for decades. It never occurred to me that that would be the number one where people were just like, ‘I wish you had never been born.’”

People aren’t struggling because they don’t know how to manage money anymore. They’re struggling because everything costs more, but their income hasn’t caught up. Groceries are expensive. Rent keeps going up. Bills don’t stop coming. And somehow, you’re still expected to save money, invest in your future, and enjoy life once in a while. You cut back on eating out, cancel subscriptions, stop buying things you enjoy, and start questioning every little purchase. Then someone who hasn’t struggled financially in years tells you, “You just need to be better with money.” BETTER WITH WHAT MONEY? AND HOW MUCH MORE OF THEIR LIVES ARE PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO SACRIFICE JUST TO SURVIVE?

Trevor Noah Exposes the One Secret Every U.S. President Shares Trevor Noah: In the United States of America, if you want to win an election, all you need to have is a strange voice. Simple as that. You want to be president of the United States, get a strange voice, you're done. “Yeah, forget policies, forget ideas, that's boring. You come out there, here are my boos: "Normal-sounding ass bitch." No, you come out there with a strange voice, the people love it.” “You realize there's been no American president who has a normal speaking voice. None. Now, you can go back as far as you want. None of them spoke normal.” “None. Go back like, who? Like, like JFK. JFK, he didn't speak normal. He had that thing like, "Ask not..." That's not normal. I don't care what anybody says, that's not normal.” “You telling me that man was standing in a McDonald's ordering food with that voice? 'Cause they're like, "Could I please get a number one medium with fries? And I'll also have a McFlurry, please. What do you mean the ice cream machine is broken?" That's not normal.” “No American president speaks normal. None. Bill Clinton, he didn't speak normal. He always did that thing where it sounded like he was trying to seduce the audience, you know? They're like, "I do not have sexual relations with that woman..." What are you doing?” “No American president spoke normal. None. Barack Obama, he didn't speak normal. He always did that thing where it sounded like his voice was buffering: "Uh... as Americans, uh, we got to try to get a faster internet." That's not normal.”

Here’s a question for anyone who says young people should stop buying coffee and eating out if they want to build wealth. If someone spends $150 a month on small pleasures, cutting those expenses saves $1,800 a year. That’s useful money. But if their rent increases by $300 a month, that’s an extra $3,600 a year before they’ve bought a single coffee. Why is the conversation always about the little things people buy to enjoy their lives, rather than the enormous fixed expenses consuming their income? PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY MATTERS. BUT YOU CAN’T BUDGET YOUR WAY OUT OF EVERY STRUCTURAL PROBLEM.

A lot of people aren’t choosing between buying a home and renting anymore. They’re choosing between renting a place they can barely afford and moving somewhere they don’t actually want to live. Move closer to work, and the rent is ridiculous. Move farther away, and you spend hours commuting and more money on transportation. Choose a cheaper neighborhood, and you might lose access to better schools, reliable transit, or the people who make your life enjoyable. Then someone says, “Just move somewhere cheaper.” CHEAPER FOR WHOM? AND WHAT EXACTLY ARE PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO GIVE UP NEXT JUST TO AFFORD A PLACE TO EXIST?

“My Ex is a Pedophile” Rosie Nelson on the chilling moment a hidden SD card changed her life forever. “So, I started looking, there were a couple of boxes. I lifted the lid of the first one, lifted the lid of the second one, and there it was, in with a whole load of electrical cables and stuff” “Grabbed it, walked off. Um, when I got to where I was going, looked in the back and there was something in there and I thought, "Well, that's a bit odd." Um, so I pulled it out and it was an SD card, I think you call them, the tiny little cards that go into whatever.” “So I thought, it's a bit strange. Um, so I put it into the, iPad, the Apple iPad, and this box popped up, bottom left, and there was a small child there.” “So, I ripped it out of the, computer and sat there and just thought, "Of course it's not, that's just absolutely mental." That's just ridiculous. So, I put it back in and this time a box popped up with a load of titles.” “And all of the titles, every single one was something, you know, pretty horrendous. Um, and I just thought, "Oh, my God, this is actually what I thought it was." “Yeah, you just can't believe it. Can't believe what you're seeing. You can't see that and ever forget what you've seen. It never leaves you.”

Cardi B Reveals The Heartbreaking Reason She Couldn’t Release An Album, And It Had Nothing To Do With Becoming A Mother. She explained that motherhood never stopped her from working. Just three months after giving birth, she was performing four to five shows a week. But after releasing her hit record “WAP,” people assumed her pregnancy was the reason she didn’t release an album. According to Cardi, the real issue was that she didn’t have enough songs she felt were ready. Then, last year, when she finally planned to release an album, everything changed. Cardi revealed that she fell into the deepest depression of her life. She couldn’t eat, sleep, or function, and it brought all her plans to a halt. But her struggles went beyond depression. She also opened up about how painful it feels to spend hours in the studio perfecting her music, only for people to tear it apart when it comes out. She compared the experience to baking a cake with love and care, only for people to call it terrible and destroy it. For Cardi, that kind of criticism can affect her mental health so deeply that sometimes she chooses to protect her peace rather than put herself through it again. Her story highlights a side of being an artist that fans don’t always see, the emotional cost of creating something personal and putting it in front of the world.

MY DAD JUST MOVED TO NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, AND HE KEEPS COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW EXPENSIVE RENT IS. He genuinely wants to understand how people afford rent, groceries, a car, and other bills without their entire paycheck disappearing. Americans who live there, how do you guys manage? Is it really this expensive everywhere, or is Newark a different story?

I’m convinced one of the biggest lies we tell young people is that loyalty to an employer will eventually pay off. You stay at the company for 8 years. You train new employees. You cover shifts when people quit. You take on responsibilities that weren’t in your original job description. Then you discover the new hire doing half your job makes $15,000 more than you. When you ask for a raise, management says budgets are tight. When you resign, they suddenly find money to make a counteroffer. WHY DOES IT SOMETIMES TAKE THREATENING TO LEAVE FOR A COMPANY TO FINALLY PAY YOU WHAT YOU’RE WORTH?

Piers Morgan Presses Marc Lamont Hill on Whether a Woman Can Have a Penis — Chris Parrott Turns the Question Around Piers Morgan: I’ll come to you. But first, can a woman have a penis, Mark? Yes or no? Marc Lamont Hill: A trans woman may have a penis. A cis woman would not. These are silly gotcha games used to get clips on the internet. I understand your point. Piers Morgan: No, they’re not. It’s simple biology. Marc Lamont Hill: We agree on the biology. A woman can’t have a penis. Full stop. The point is that gender identity is different from biological sex. Males have penises, and females have vaginas. We can agree on that. But gender isn’t purely about what you’re assigned biologically at birth. Conflating the two is either being ignorant of the issue or being disingenuous. Chris Parrott: So, following that logic, is anyone who has a vagina a man? Marc Lamont Hill: No, that’s not the inverse. Biologically, there are males and females. Chris Parrott: That must be true, right? Marc Lamont Hill: That’s a much more logical question than the one you initially asked. If you’re born with a vagina, you’re biologically female. If you’re born with a penis, you’re biologically male. That’s not in dispute. What’s in dispute is whether our biological identity at birth tells the whole story. In transgender discussions, we’re saying it doesn’t. Our identities can also have social contexts. Piers Morgan: I wasn’t assigned male at birth. This whole language is ridiculous, Mark. I was born male. And that’s the problem.

Amanda Seyfried says the marketing for Jennifer’s Body ruined what she considers a perfect movie. Amanda Seyfried: “I can’t critique this movie. To me, it’s a perfect movie. It’s got balls.” “Diablo Cody was outspoken and beautiful and smart and funny, and we were expressing a certain angst in a very, very specific comedic way, in a very specific genre.” “The special effects were incredible. There were stunts, there was, like, everything that you could want, and girl-on-girl action.” “If the critics criticized anything, it would be the marketing. The marketing sucked. It just did. And we all agree.” “Karyn is a fierce advocate of women and storytelling. She’s able to enhance the relationships between women on film and TV. She’s very human and very sensitive, and I felt like she cared deeply about the story underneath all of it.” “She got it all and she put it together so beautifully. And the marketing team cheapened it. Like it was just, you know, a romp, a gory romp. I think they ruined it.” “I’m looking forward to the sequel. They’re working on it. I already said thumbs up. I was like, whenever you’re ready, I’m ready.” “I want to play Needy. I love Needy.”
