The time has come for us to start our long journey home! We are planning on stopping at Bayeux and the Arromanches 360 cinema on the way to the port ⛴️ 🇫🇷

Change of plan for this afternoon.. we will be heading over to Mont St Michel this afternoon to try and avoid the predicted windy conditions of tomorrow afternoon. Goat farm this morning 🐐 🇫🇷

Today we are doing a rotation of activities on site- bread making, circus skills & French games. The children are all getting stuck in already- lots of French being spoken! 🇫🇷

The French immersion trip has finally arrived at La Grand’Ferme. Everyone is in their rooms and we’re all hopeful of a good night sleep 🤞

Year 8 French trip is just passing Colchester. ETA is now 19.20.

ETA back at DHS for the year 8 French trip students is between 7 and 7.30pm. Will update when we’ve made some progress towards school and have a better idea.

Ferry from Calais to Dover is delayed by at least an hour. We are changing coaches at Folkestone due to lack of air conditioning. We will update times once we’re on the a12 and making progress.

First stop this morning.. chocolate workshop! Mmmm 😋 🍫
