📢 Important Update
As many of you might have seen, there were allegations of misconduct by one of our game hosts. This host was trusted in the community and had helped keep games running for quite some time on our platforms.
Upon investigation, we found DrGonzo was indeed abusing this trusted position and gaming the leaderboard. Ultimately using shady tactics to siphon the prize pool on more than one occasion. This goes against everything we stand for as a platform and of course we had to let him go in light of these findings.
We've taken further action by adopting a stronger reliance on @DecideAI_ and their trustless POH functionality for leaderboard qualifications and tournaments. At zkGame, we believe in using code to fight corruption, and thanks to the brilliant work of @dfinity and teams like DecideAI, we’re able to take trust and transparency further than many thought possible.
We apologize for the negative impact these events have had on our community and this firm response should set the precedent that we won't tolerate abuse of the community's trust.
