Always love to see the NowLight being used in educational settings!
It's our belief that we've done a lot with some very easy to understand physics, so it would be perfect to teach kids about energy and electricity stores.
Thanks a lot, @Hookean1!
Physics teachers. This NowLight might be good as a talking point for energy stores lessons. The company that makes them are providing them to communities who have unreliable electricity supplies. Can also charge phones š #chatphysics
Today is the #LightDay2022 as observed by #UNESCO and @IDLofficial. Light, and access to it, have always been important to Deciwatt; it's what we were founded on.
Light is one of those things you'll never know you're missing until it's out. We want to protect from that.

As you might know, Deciwatt is based in London, and weāre having a bit of a #heatwave.
Yes, it reached a whole 22Ā°C!
Which means everyone around here is planning BBQs and picnics. When the British get a lick of sunlight, itās all hands on deck!

The NowLight is perfect for keeping the party going after dark; portable, hand-powered, and can charge your phone. For the tunes. Obviously.
Do any of our UK based followers have plans for the upcoming sun? And for friends abroad, how do you use your NowLight for fun in the sun?

We often get asked if a giant GravityLight could produce enough electricity to power a home. The answer is yes! Congratulations to @gravitricity on the successful deployment of their 50 tonne 'gravity battery' (the equivalent of 4,167 GravityLights!)

Don't know about you, but we can't wait to get outside and camp again. āŗļøš³
Every January I ask myself if it'll ever be warm and light again. Just to be outside and spending time with others. That's all that we want. #camping #campingessentials #january #2021blues
There may be brighter flashlights and bigger power banks but they aren't very useful when the batteries are empty. Get a NowLight and you can generate electricity to provide light and power at any time and almost anywhere (donāt try it underwater!)

We really like it when you're using our products.
But, we'd like to wish you a pleasant holiday wherever you are in the world, and we hope you're only using our NowLight or GravityLight if you want to, rather than need to.
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
Not only does the #NowLight charge by pulling on a cord, but you can charge it via the NowLight solar panel. So during the day, you can rest your arms for when you really need it. #solarpower #solarenergy #energyaccess #campingessentials
