Apply lip gloss, smell good, pick up your PVC, and, most importantly, hate Tinubu with fiery passion.

~ Talk about a MOVING MAN meeting his luck, and I’ll tell you about me. In 2020, I got my first AMVCA nomination after making several short films. 2020–2022 was an incredible period for me as a young director, filled with awards, nominations, interviews, and more. Then came the long hiatus. I stopped directing and picked up my camera to pursue another love: photography. Since then, I’ve exhibited my work in the UK and Nigeria and been published several times. I returned to Nigeria this year, hoping to direct again while continuing photography. Then God did it! After almost five years away from directing, I got behind the camera again. Tonight, my first project since the hiatus premieres on YouTube at 8 PM! This isn’t just about me; it’s also a story of finding my way back to something I love dearly. “BRODA SHAGGI – SECOND CHANCE (THE STORY)” out on YouTube tonight at 8 PM. Love, Diji ❤️

6 Years Later! We are still dealing with Insecurity, hunger, poverty, lack of proper health care and the highest level of corruption and impunity. The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people at a time when we should be most united. I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens and stop allowing a few selfish individuals destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us. Till then, ✌🏾 and 🤍

My entire experience today. Phew!
The literacy crisis isn’t that people can’t read the words. It’s that they can’t understand the context, infer meaning, recognise nuance, identify contradictions, or draw logical conclusions from what they’ve read

ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020 Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country. On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life. We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice. As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights. Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future. May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated. A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO

Also just hit me that I made ‘This Fight’ for a time like now. The only kind of justice we can get for those we lost is to actively work against the people that killed them. It’s how we must see it. As a fight for them. #EndSARS #TinubuMustGo
You made plans I know you did Your heart dreamed so many dreams All these things you’ll never get to see 🧡 #EndSARS

Please my people, come out and vote on Election Day. If you don’t have your PVC, go to your nearest polling unit and make sure the votes are counted. Follow the votes to the collation centre until the results are announced. There is power in numbers.

Debutante. It feels like my first year out in society. This is my favorite still from this movie. And that’s why I used it. It’s maybe the most powerful still from the film. Chineke nna za’m ekpere.

You don’t solve poverty by teaching everyone to become millionaires. You solve poverty by building an economy where ordinary work can produce a decent life.
