Travis Hunter has definitely improved as a Cornerback. He’s looking good so far against the Bengals 👀

I know there is a lot of talk about QBs sliding… I slid my whole career & never took a hit like you see now & that’s when hitting was allowed!
I don’t believe it’s the sliding that’s the problem, it’s the TIMING of the slide! QBs are pushing envelope bc they are more protected & they expect defenders to just assume they aren’t going to keep running… bad assumption!
Go down early or just be a running back - the in-between is the problem IMO!
Jarrian Jones showing great eye discipline on this play. There’s a Cleveland Browns clip at the end showing how to rep this in practice.
You definitely gave me the perfect project for today 🤝🫡

I would actually say Coach Prime changed the game. Not sure Florida St would’ve let Travis play both sides. I’ve been on teams where our WRs were slow and had no YAC ability and we had DBs that would’ve made our offense a lot more explosive. And yes, they were DBs that can catch
Opportunity meets preparation. Michael Coats Jr. making the Cleveland Browns 53-man roster as an "undersized" undrafted free agent, that didn't play HS football is incredible.

CB Michael Coats Jr. signed with the #Browns as an UDFA out of WVU, but his football experience began after high school when he made the East Central Community College team.
There are plenty of reasons he made the initial 53-man roster today—here are 2 minutes' worth of them:
Asante is soooo underrated. 50 INTs is insane!
Asante Samuel explains why he intentionally didn't cover the opponent’s best receiver
“There’s a reason I decided not to travel across the field, because I traveled my first two years. Played press. I experienced it all. When I played press, I had the least amount of balls caught on me, but I wasn’t getting interceptions.”
“So what I learned is: most of the quarterbacks in the NFL are what? Right-handed. What side are they throwing to most? The left. So guess what? I’m going to go to the side where the ball is coming the most.”
“The other side, the ball don’t come there first. That’s not the first option because they’ve got to look over their shoulder and throw it that way. So people that play on that side, I’m right where, if they’re looking and not throwing this way, they’re making themselves uncomfortable throwing to the other side.”
“Quarterbacks drop back and don’t look that way, that messes up your whole offense. I take away an entire side. I’m so smart. I got all this broke down in my head. The hall of fame... all that stuff...”
