Cummins winning the toss on this Green Mamba was imperative.. it looks so dangerous out there, let’s hope it settles before Australia get to bat on it mid way through day 3..

FFS we’re bowling a leg stump (and outside) line to the wrong bloke.. but keep trying it.. we need a refresh..
Pick the 11, then pick a captain.. first we need Ponting as our chief selector..
Discussing the non selection of Scotty Boland on the TV..
Saying Hazelwood should have been the one to miss.
I’m not with them.. the Captain is the lucky one.. pick your 11, then pick your Captain
Either way, your bloke with the biggest ticker should be playing.

If you told me 3 blokes would be getting dropped from the Australian Cricket Team, I’d have had Marnus at $1.05..
Fiji really should let Turbo run 10m in space rather than rushing up and tackling him.. bloke will do a hamstring and 1 less bloke to worry about..

9pm on a Sunday, mid school term is a great way to introduce more Fijians to Rugby League..
Fuck some sports administrators are incompetent..

Must be Gold Coast V8 weekend.. couple of weapons doing hot laps out here in the hinterland.. 🤦♂️

Another of those bullshit stories that crept into my timeline for some reason
But, did remind me of a night I got caught in a blizzard. luckily a fresh battery in my keys, locked/unlocked the car from 100m away to keep me in the right direction, many times I’d strayed off course
My dad worked for the power company for thirty-one years, and he didn't trust it with one thing: our front porch light. He ran it off a 12-volt marine battery tucked behind a milk crate, and every Sunday at dusk he swapped in a charged one.
"We don't share the yard," he'd say when I asked. It never made sense to me.
He passed in April. I kept swapping the battery on Sundays, mostly because I didn't know how to stop. The light never came on during the day or evening. It clicked on once in the middle of the night, set on a cheap plug-in timer.
Last night a thunderstorm knocked out power across the whole subdivision. Every house on the street went black except ours. At 3:14 AM, the porch light clicked on, aimed across the road at the woodline.
The timer runs a minute fast. Dad never fixed it.
I stopped asking why the light was on. I started asking who it was for.
I stood at the window and watched the trees. A minute later, a small flashlight blinked twice in the dark. It was a slow, polite signal, like someone saying hello.
I went out on the porch with a flashlight of my own and a jacket over my pajamas. A young man in scrubs came out of the trees and crossed the road. He looked about twenty-five, soaked to the knees, with a lanyard around his neck.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I'm Danny. I live on Birch, the next street over. I didn't mean to scare you."
"You were in the woods at three in the morning."...
The best thing I’ve heard from .@kanecornes
#AFLFantasy based on the NFL version, minimal players in a team, trading in your league. All the best parts..
2 forwards, 2 midfielders a ruck and some defenders..
I’ll trade you one Nick Daicos for a Max Gawn and Zane Dursma
