Yahya ibn Mu‘adh al-Razi said:
“Let your conduct towards a believer consist of three things: if you do not benefit him, then at least do not harm him; if you do not bring him joy, then at least do not grieve him; and if you do not speak well of him, then at least do not speak ill of him.”
(al-Zuhd wal-Raqaiq of al-Khatib al-Baghdadi no. 91)
The solution is to judge only based on their consistent adherence to the Qur’aan and Sunnah under the understanding of the Salaf, and that they cling and refer to the Ulema.
Any deviance from this must be called out and they must be held to account.

In times of fitan (trials), people get SHOOK up & confused.
If you are grounded in Salafi principles of the Book & the Sunnah, you just return to them & hold fast to them, & by Allah's Permission, you're safe & good!
If your actual roots are silly gossip & tabloid rumors, then you just return to that & hold fast to it. Everybody returns to their foundations! Yet do not be surprised when the people of Sunnah are disgusted with you once they see your true colors & avoid you entirely!
The Prophet (may Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) said:
إن شر الناس عند الله منزلة يوم القيامة من تركه الناس اتقاء شره
"Indeed the worst people to Allah in rank/status on the Day of Judgment are those whom the people abandon in order to stay safe from their evil." (Bukhari)

A few days ago, I (Rasheed Barbee) gave my mother-in-law a copy of What Would Jesus Do? She read the entire book and agreed with what she had read. After a conversation and a few questions, Allah blessed her to embrace Islam.
I mention this only as a way of recounting the favors of Allah. Guidance belongs entirely to Him. We may speak, write, teach, or place something in someone's hands, but none of us can place guidance in a person's heart. Allah alone does that.
“Indeed, you do not guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills.” [Qur'an 28:56]
All praise is due to Allah, who guided her to Islam. I ask Allah to keep her firm upon His religion, increase her in knowledge and faith, and allow this book to be a means of guidance and benefit for others.

Brother Amin Abdullah was the security guard who was martyred at the Islamic Center of San Diego. He gave his life to protect the lives of countless students and congregants.
One of his last Facebook posts said:
"What is success? To many people success is financial stability, good reputation, beauty, etc.

⭕ The #SanDiego Police Department said the "threat at the Islamic center has been neutralized."
The police responded to calls after a gunman opened fire at the #IslamicCenter of San Diego in Clairemont, located at 7050 Eckstrom Avenue.
The center also houses a school and Live footage showed children being evacuated across the street.
Local media reported at least two killed. All the children were safe, police said.
