We are officially live.
Today, we are proud to announce the launch of Deep33 Ventures, emerging from stealth, a $150 million inaugural fund dedicated to Deep Tech and critical infrastructure .
Our Thesis:
The global AI investment cycle is accelerating, but it is facing critical bottlenecks in the physical world. Energy, compute, and labor are the constraints that define the next decade .
As our Co-Founder Lior Prosor (@LiorProsor) puts it: "The AI Supercycle cannot reach its potential without a radical reimagining of our physical foundations."
That is why Deep33 was built. We are backing the "hard" systems: energy, quantum, AI Infra and robotics, that sustain a modern sovereign state.
The Team:
Led by Lior Prosor and Michael Broukhim (@broukhim), and joined by Lior Susan (Founder of Eclipse Ventures) as Chairman, we are bridging the gap between Israeli engineering and U.S. national resilience .
We operate on an "Expert-First" model, with vertical leads drawn from the highest echelons of tech ecosystem and national security agencies.
Quantum Vertical: Led by Col. (Res.) Joab Rosenberg (@JoabRosenberg), former senior official in IDF Intelligence and commander of the elite Talpiot program, and quantum physicist from the Weizmann Institute.
Energy Vertical: Led by Ori Amsalem (@Ori_Amsalem5) , former technology investor at Arkin Capital and Ernst & Young, with extensive background in Deep Tech and Energy, and experience guiding significant energy deals in Israel and globally.
AI Infrastructure: Led by Maj. (Res.) Yael Barsheshet (@yaelbarsheshet), with a decade of technical leadership positions in IDF Intelligence, product leadership at an AI startup, and 5 years leading early-stage AI Infrastructure and Cybersecurity investments.
Government Relations & Strategy (Venture Partner): Yarden Golan (@Golan_yarden), until recently Chief of Staff to Ron Dermer (during his tenure as Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs and Israeli Ambassador to the US), with rich experience working with governments worldwide and leading market companies.
Autonomous Systems Advisor: Elram Goren, who served in significant roles in IDF Intelligence. Goren is a co-founder and former CEO of Fabric, which raised over $300 million and built an autonomous robotics platform.
To the founders building the impossible: We are open for business in Tel Aviv, New York, and Los Angeles .
Let’s build the future.
As new details of Anthropic's expected landmark IPO become apparent, it is becoming clear that the AI giant is expecting turbulence as the backlash against data centers intensifies and an expected challenging regulatory environment ahead.
And still, according to our GP @LiorProsor, Anthropic's IPO is not at risk given the challenge, and should be raising as much money as it can to weather the coming storms.

Thank you @Erica_Wenger for having our GP @broukhim! It is wonderful to be able to share the story of @FabFitFun and our fund!
My conversation with Michael @broukhim.
Michael is the co-founder of @FabFitFun and @Deep33Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on AI, robotics, and frontier technologies. He's also an early investor in companies like @SpaceX and @Stripe.
We discuss why AI has become a national security issue, the growing technological rivalry between America and China, and why controlling AI infrastructure will be critical to the future of global power.
We also discuss:
- Why the US-Israel technology alliance matters for the AI race
- How opposition to AI and data centers could slow American innovation
- Why he shifted from consumer businesses to investing in hard tech
- How running FabFitFun shaped his approach to venture capital
- How layoffs, COVID, and his brother's cancer diagnosis changed his perspective on life
Enjoy!

When @elonmusk told us the next Roadster would blow our minds, we should have listened. We got a flying car.
In 2021 he told us something even bigger; that he’s building "sort of like a futuristic Noah's Ark."
I don’t believe in coincidences. 🧵

Some of the best career moves take a bit of courage.
For Yael Barsheshet, one of those decisions led her to her role as Partner at @Deep33Ventures, where she’s watching the AI supercycle unfold up close. She feels very good about that choice, and she thinks the industry could use more of that kind of professional courage.
What’s the boldest career move you’ve made?

Last night about 50 of us gathered in Beverly Hills for the first @Deep33Ventures Quantum Salon.
It's a nod to the salons of Vienna around 1900, where scientists sat at the same table as artists, founders, and statesmen.
We talked about time, reality, free will, and the future of quantum. 🧵
Data Centers can bring up a lot of emotions, but we at Deep33 think they are great for the US.
Our General Partner, @broukhim, sat down with @Erin_Molan to discuss how the data center boom is enabling a re-industrialization of America in a meaningful way.

A new year is a good moment to think about the world we want to help build. Grateful to our founders, LPs and friends for being part of Deep33. Shana Tova.
Today, AITAN announced $50M in financing, and we are proud to co-lead with Dell Technologies Capital.
As technology continues to evolve exponentially and as governments are asked to secure more than just their borders, exercising sovereignty requires doing things differently. They cannot build every technical and industrial layer themselves on the timeline the world now demands.
We believe this reality opens up what we call Sovereignty-as-a-Service: companies that shrink the time-to-capability gap while preserving national control.
Nowhere is this trend more evident than in robotic systems. Governments simply cannot keep up with how fast new systems are released.
With Aitan, they don’t need to. Aitan is building the control layer that lets allied nations integrate and continuously upgrade the best available systems, allowing them to adopt new capabilities at speed without the exorbitant costs and required expertise.

I'm proud to announce:
Deep33, our $150M early-stage deep tech fund focused on the U.S.–Israel corridor 🚀
After 15 years investing in and advising 100+ startups, I’m going all-in on two convictions:
• Deep tech is entering its moment. The next era is about re-architecting the physical world.
• The U.S.–Israel corridor is a generational advantage for building enduring frontier companies.
Deep33 is focused on quantum computing, energy, and autonomous systems, and we’re based across Tel Aviv, New York, and Los Angeles.
We’re building this as an “Expert-First” platform. We believe that backing teams at the scientific edge requires more than capital — it requires a venture firm capable of going deep.
I’m proud to build this alongside my partner @LiorProsor, our Chairman Lior Susan, and our specialized partner leads, @JoabRosenberg (Quantum), @yaelbarsheshet (AI Infra), @Ori_Amsalem5 (Energy), as well as our Venture Partner @Golan_yarden (Gov’t Relations) and strategic advisor Elram Goren (Robotics).
If you’re building at the frontier (or want to partner), reach out — I’d love to meet.
Why 33?
33 represents the open revelation of the most hidden depths of our universe—this is the very work our firm and our founders are engaged in. Ask me more about it when we connect.
