Powered by the SpacemiT K3:
• RVA23 support — a major milestone for Linux standardization
• Up to 60 TOPS AI compute
• Ubuntu & Fedora support
This isn’t just another dev board — it’s a usable RISC-V laptop.

🚀 DeepSeek Harness (dsh) now runs natively on the DC-ROMA Mainboard III!
On the DC-ROMA Mainboard III, with a 16-core SpacemiT K3 RISC-V chip and 16GB of RAM, we have DeepSeek’s official AI agent framework dsh fully running on Ubuntu 26.04 (riscv64) 👇
✅ The Web UI runs smoothly, and the agent calls tools and runs multi-step tasks on its own.
✅ dsh checks its own host (CPU, memory, disk, thermals and systemd) and writes a full report.
✅ About 13% load while running, chip temperature around 60°C.
RISC-V doesn’t just run Linux. It runs AI agents too 🔥

At #GOSIM2026 Yanwei Huang shared how to build AI Agents on the DC-ROMA RISC-V Mainboard III.
It runs on the SpacemiT K3 with up to 60 TOPS of AI compute and supports the #RVA23 profile. The whole agent, from model inference to tool calls, runs locally on a RISC-V laptop.
RISC-V can run more than just models now. It runs agents too.

Great RISC-V hardware is only half the story. The other half is software that just works, and that starts upstream.
If you build, ship, or care about RISC-V software, come and join @Yuning_XC5 and Brian 'redbeard' Harrington for a keynote on "Upstreaming RISC-V".

RISC-V in 2026: the silicon is ready, AI is the opportunity.
At RISC-V Ottawa @Yuning_XC5 shared where the ecosystem stands, why software is the next big gap, and how edge AI, AI PCs and inference servers can drive RISC-V forward.

As AI agents move from software into physical devices, the hardware behind them needs to become more flexible and accessible. Open architectures like RISC-V offer new possibilities for building and adapting AI systems at the edge.
At GOSIM Shenzhen 2026, @Yuning_XC5 , Founder & CEO of DeepComputing, and Yanwei Huang, Developer Relations Engineer of DeepComputing, will explore how DC-ROMA Mainboard III brings RISC-V into AI agent devices, and what open hardware can enable for developers building intelligent systems.

Heterogeneous RISC-V is no longer a corner case. When hardware clusters differ in vector register width or RVV version, a single Linux kernel can struggle to represent every core’s real capabilities.
At Linux Plumbers Conference 2026, Cong Wang and @Yuning_XC5 will explore a multikernel approach: booting one independent Linux kernel per hardware cluster, with each kernel built for the silicon it runs on.

Can an open instruction set help make AI and robotics systems easier to inspect, adapt, and build on?
At #RISCVOttawa, @Yuning_XC5 will look beyond the processor itself—toward the software, tools, and developer experience required to turn open hardware into useful platforms for intelligent systems.

DeepComputing featured in Linux Magazine Netherlands! 🇳🇱
From our first RISC-V mainboard and @FrameworkPuter collaboration to building the broader RISC-V software ecosystem, the latest issue takes a closer look at our journey — “This is only the beginning.” Like what @Yuning_XC5 said.
Big thanks to Paul Reemeijer!

This is more than a pricing story. For open hardware, memory and storage availability can determine whether a Linux platform remains accessible to developers, makers, and communities.
Hard times do not change our direction. DeepComputing will keep building RISC-V products. We believe open source is for all humanity—not a luxury for easy market cycles, but a shared foundation people can inspect, improve, and build upon.
