What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

If you book it, they will come.
All I want for Christmas Eve is boxing in Dubai.
I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face. Nothing that's happened has changed my belief in myself or what I'm working toward. I'm hungrier than ever, and on Thursday, December 24, I'm returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey. Dubai is a city that thinks big, breaks boundaries, and doesn't believe in limits. That's exactly the kind of place I want to make my comeback. We've got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody's getting knocked out. @MostVpromotions

Well... it's finally happened, I got got by an offshore bookie. @BovadaOfficial permanently shut my account down and confiscated 30.5k from me. Went to withdraw 2.5k, they asked for ID (which I provided), and shortly afterward they permanently banned my account and forfeited my remaining $28k balance.
Why? They say I've provided invalid information, and engaged in criminal and fraudulent activity.
I've repeatedly asked Bovada to identify the specific activity they're alleging was fraudulent or criminal, or provide any evidence supporting their decision.
Instead, I've gotten generic responses citing Terms of Service, followed by complete silence from them.
I made all my money live betting publicly available boxing and MMA lines. That's it. Over time, my betting limits went from $500 to $250 to $100 and to $5. That's when I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Still trying to get my money back, but I wanted to share this as a warning:
Don't leave large balances sitting in offshore sportsbooks. Until that money hits your bank account, its not yours (no shit).
Oh, and if anyone knows a good lawyer who handles disputes with offshore sportsbooks, shoot me a DM. @SBRReview @Covers

🆕 Jonathan Di Bella will defend his ONE Championship strawweight kickboxing title at ONE 174 in December, with the numbered series returning sooner than expected.
CEO Chatri Sityodtong indicated a December 12 show during Wednesday’s Facebook Live, with the host country due to be revealed next week.
“I almost said the country. Sorry, I can’t say the country.”
The Bangkok Post understands the event is planned for a territory outside Thailand, Japan and Qatar – the first numbered card beyond those countries since ONE 168 in Denver in September 2024.
It would end a gap of almost 13 months since ONE 173 in Tokyo. The series had been expected to resume in Qatar on March 26, 2027 – that show at Doha’s Aspire Dome remains scheduled.
China and Malaysia would be familiar options. Both were regular stops before Covid-19, and the Bangkok Post understands ONE came close to finalising events in both countries for late 2025, but neither materialised.
Di Bella’s opponent remains unannounced. Wang Junguang has emerged as a contender after beating Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK at The Inner Circle 35.
The 30-year-old Italian-Canadian has welcomed that challenge, having retained his belt against Zhang Peimian in July to improve to 16-1.
His planned move up to challenge Superlek for the flyweight kickboxing title at ONE Samurai 4 fell through after the Thai star’s knee injury.
On a possible Wang fight, Di Bella said: “I do think somebody’s going to get knocked out in this fight. And it’s not going to be me.”
