Skylights are such a forgotten feature of Minecraft bases. They add so much but I don’t see anyone build them anymore :(

According to modern MC fans every single texture has to be nice and soft or else it’s outdated slop that you only like cause of muh nostalgia goggles. If you can’t build a hecking wholesome Japanese chateau out of it, it’s bad! (This includes the flesh-rock from Hell!!!)

They do kind of have a point in that artists overly rely on preexisting textures like cobblestone. I’m so sick and tired of seeing people use cobblestone for any and every block that even looks remotely similar. Especially with stuff like raw ore blocks and blackstone.

this wasn't at all meant to be a hit tweet go home you have better things to question, like why shaders get force disabled on bedrock if one of the enabled texture packs doesn't support vv, even if another pack patches that pack to fix the shader support issue
