In 2023-25 Russian courts jailed 135 people for 6.5-15 years over the antisemitic Makhachkala airport riot targeting Jews from Israel; organizers got 15-19 years in absentia. Extremism laws (Art. 282) have also produced convictions for anti-Jewish hate speech and neo-Nazi activity.
