That'll do it-- Maryland falls 2-1. Scoring isn't there right now. It's the fourth time in the last six games the Black Bears have only put in one goal. Tough to beat teams like that. Tomorrow is going to be a big gut-check game for this team.

I mean, the goalie got knocked into and one of our guys was there. Call is the call.

Werthman has been stellar tonight. Got to get him some goal support.

Danbury goes ahead on a redirect.

The inconsistency of the "helmet ripped off head by opponent" continues.

SCHLECHTWEG!! Great forecheck and a wrap to tie the game up at 1.

Oh these defensive zone turnovers...

Through 40, Black Bears are down 1-0. The second period continues to be an Achilles heel for the Black Bears. Need a big boost in the third from the top guys.
35
Danbury opens the scoring on the power play. PK couldn't get the puck out of the zone.
39
Done with 20, we're scoreless. Maryland started to get things going after killing off the early penalty. They just got to keep putting shots to net and creating a little ruckus.

Plenty of good chances for Maryland their extended zone time.

Smart pass by Wade, but Terranova's luck has been not great the last couple games. Just needs one to turn it around.
35
Good early chance for Sweeney down low. That line of Sweeney-Markarian-Deuling is a good'un.
42
Still issues with getting things out of the defensive zone for Maryland.

Personally-- would've liked a #5 vs. #4 play-in game that Thursday with winner going into the lowest-seed for the best-of-three....but I like the idea of one-and-done semis AND final.
