On Day 3 of our Momentum Trading & Investing Bootcamp, @rajran06 covered four P&F patterns, each defined by rules instead of opinion.
1. High Pole (bearish)
2. Low Pole (bullish)
3. Mini Bottom
4. Mini Top
TRADERS, REMEMBER MAKING PAPER PLANES IN SCHOOL?
One sheet of paper.
A few folds.
And one big question.
Whose plane would fly the farthest?
Some barely made it past the first bench.
Others flew across the classroom.
Same paper. Different results.
But why?
Let's revisit a childhood experiment. 🧵👇
That's the thinking behind Definedge.
Building an ecosystem of tools for systematic traders and investors.
RZone: Scan, analyse and backtest trading ideas.
Algostra: Build and automate rule-based trading strategies without coding.
Opstra: Analyse options strategies, evaluate risk and explore derivatives data.
Different tools. Different purposes.
One broader goal: Make systematic trading more accessible.
Remember those paper planes?
The fun wasn't just in making one.
It was in figuring out how to make the next one better.
Trading has a similar lesson.
Ideas matter.
But so do the rules, testing, execution and review that follow.
Because the goal isn't to find one perfect trade.
It's to build a process you can follow, evaluate and improve.
That's the world of systematic trading Definedge is building.
Explore the Definedge ecosystem.

What does a chart look like when you remove time and noise?
On Day 1 of the Momentum Trading & Investing Bootcamp, @Prashantshah267 and @rajran06 walked through how a Point & Figure chart is built.
Are you struggling to hold winning trades or finding it difficult to identify when to exit?
In this video, learn how to use Heikin-Ashi Widespread Candles to identify strong momentum and ride trends with greater confidence.
Watch now - youtu.be/uyofDhrd1T0
Discover what widespread candles are, how to identify them using the difference between the high and low of a Heikin-Ashi candle, and why consecutive widespread candles can indicate a strong trending move.
WHAT IF YOU COULD HAVE FOUND THIS STOCK IN SECONDS?
Look at this breakout!
Now imagine searching for stocks showing bullish conditions across multiple charts.
What if one scan could help you shortlist them in seconds?
Let's explore.🧵👇
Now comes the interesting part.
Each condition receives a score:
🟢 1 = Bullish condition
🔴 0 = Bearish condition
The scores are added together.
For example, in the scanner screenshot:
DRREDDY: 14/15
ETERNAL: 14/15
KOTAKBANK: 14/15
These stocks meet 14 out of 15 bullish conditions.
A higher score means more bullish conditions are aligned across the selected charts.
It doesn't guarantee a breakout or future returns.
