There's an interesting part of @FungoLabs that deserves more attention, and it has very little to do with the artwork of its Genesis NFTs. It's what happens when the Fungo Launchpad starts bringing other collections into its ecosystem. Fungo has outlined a model that connects Genesis NFT holders to the activity happening on the Launchpad. Here's how it works. 20% of the revenue generated by the Launchpad will go into a Genesis pool, distributed equally across all 3,232 Genesis NFTs. Holders can claim their share in ETH, $ZAMA or tokens from collections launched on the platform. But there's another layer. Every NFT collection launched through Fungo's Launchpad will allocate at least 5% of its token supply to Genesis holders. That allocation can go as high as 20%, depending on the collection. Think about the implication. If more projects launch through Fungo, Genesis holders could become eligible for allocations from multiple independent collections, while also participating in the revenue generated by the Launchpad. The team has also addressed its own allocation. Revenue shares belonging to the team's 232 Genesis NFTs will be used to buy back and burn $FUNGO rather than being retained by the team. I find this model particularly interesting because it gives Genesis a role beyond being the first collection on the platform. It creates a connection between the success of the Launchpad, the projects it attracts and the benefits available to Genesis holders. Of course, the actual value will depend on how much activity the Launchpad attracts and the quality of the collections it brings in. Announced allocations are not guaranteed returns. I'm interested to see how this develops as Fungo moves from Genesis into its next phase. @FungoLabs is building an ecosystem, and Genesis is where it starts. 🟨

Imagine entering an on-chain battle where your opponent has no way of checking your character's stats before the match. That's one of the possibilities I'm interested in with @FungoLabs. Every Genesis NFT comes with an underlying Essence containing its class, four stats and an element. These attributes are generated at mint and remain encrypted on-chain using @zama's FHE technology. Here's where things get interesting. In most blockchain games, character attributes can be inspected publicly. Your opponent could potentially know exactly what you're bringing into a fight before it even starts. Fungo is exploring a different approach. With Fully Homomorphic Encryption, smart contracts can work with encrypted information without exposing the actual values. Think about that for a moment. A smart contract could settle a duel using two characters' hidden stats without either player having to reveal those stats to their opponent. Fungo's roadmap includes a game built around Genesis NFTs and their traits. That gives these encrypted attributes a potential purpose beyond simply being collectible metadata. I'm particularly interested in seeing how the team brings this to life. Because if your character's abilities can remain private while the game can still use them, that opens up some interesting possibilities for on-chain gaming.
