I get that I'm still here - but I've uninstalled all social media from my phone about two weeks ago. Since then, I genuinely have felt my life change a bit. I'm less angry, I care less about the things that did make me angry, and I have more time to be happy because of it.

as someone who has worked many years in high-dining - I have no clue how this movie managed to fly under my radar The Menu (2022) is absolutely incredible and had me wondering "what comes next?" the entire time amazing movie and is even better for any food service worker

At 1am, we realized our dog was missing and freaked out, but thanks to local Facebook Groups we found him in under an hour. Boy managed to go 0.6 miles away, crossed a main street, and lost his collar along the way - but he was home safe by 2:30am.

The NC State Fair was a joke this year if you went to walk around or eat food. The rides are still rides. We spent the $40/pp and rode about $60-$70 worth of tickets per person. But my god. $15 per item at almost every food vendor was insane. We spent more on food than rides.

my grandma passed away this morning. I've been trying to gather myself all day. after spending months in California this year with my abusive family, for her, I'm glad I did. I'm glad I was able to see her one last time. I love you, Nani. I'll make you proud. I promise. 💔

tl;dr - I have seen what it is like when someone else morally chastises and berates someone for having a slightly disagreeing opinion with them. It was ugly and as an onlooker, came off as more agressive and violent than the crime committed. I don't want to be that guy anymore.

"Moral purity is easier to maintain when someone else is responsible for the outcome." This has been an idea on my mind recently. I think I've finally grown out of purity testing people. People are screwed up and flawed. Even I don't perfectly pass a morality test. Nobody does.

Once you’re on the ground doing the work to make changes with either yourself of the world, you have to make compromises and own the consequences. Personal values should guide you, but the need to keep your hands perfectly clean becomes an inconvenience to getting anything done.

A chef’s hands get dirty doing the work - but they still occassionaly stop, wash up, and reassess. The goal isn’t to stay absolutely flawless, it’s to stay accountable. When there are mouths to feed, action starts to become more valuable than moral purity.

How does someone take their traditional furry badge artwork and get like, a quality digital copy of it? Like, do I need a full copy machine? Also, what if the badge has bends? Should I take it out of the laminate to get that perfect scan?

It's also got some Korean ass progression where "grinding = good". No matter what you're up to, you're progressing towards something, but holy crap there are a billion this to upgrade. I grinded mobs just to upgrade my mount for faster move speed. Because that's a thing.

I can see Aion 2 holding me off until Maplestory classic drops later this month, but I can't see it holding me after late game. I've already been told that end game PvP is a whale vs whale battleground, not for casual players.
