Our newest Animated Patient Video resource for the CURE OM community entitled, "Understanding Metastatic Uveal Melanoma", provides an overview of how metastatic uveal melanoma is diagnosed and treated. Related to treatment, this video series explores the role and importance of HLA testing and treatment options including systemic therapies, liver-directed treatments and clinical trials. The series also includes wonderful OM patient testimonials such as this clip from Ashley McCrary who shares advice to others navigating their metastatic uveal melanoma journey and the organization she runs known as the Eye on Grace Foundation which helps fund treatment-related travel for those diagnosed with OM.
