3 Key Takeaways for Future Nominees -
Tell the story behind the numbers: Focus on what data actually means for business strategy.
Build teams, not dependencies: Develop resilient talent instead of centralizing power and knowledge.
Protect trust when inconvenient: Stand firm as the "conscience of the organization," even when saying no is unpopular.
Chief Guest, Hon. Sanjay Tanna, Minister of Trade Industry and Cooperatives congratulated ACCA and Deloitte on their 10 hear milestone. He remarked on the balance that CFOs must achieve to push organisations forward and support this growth sustainably. That the role had changed significantly and so had the environment in which they needed to navigate.
He expanded the key question raised and called upon attendees to consider the past - looking back 30 or 40 years ago. An appreciation of how much has changed, that there has been significant economic progress.

Looking forward, we must also answer the important question - where do we want to be 10 years from now? If we mishandle the next decade, progress can be reversed and it is our responsibility to protect what we have built and continue moving forward.
Finance professionals will play a key role in this, you understand current and future business. Hon. Tanna highlighted industry progress (technology, tourism, finance) emphasizing that integrity would remain the core of business.
