- VERY MINOR SPOILERS FOR CH1 OF RESONANCE - ------------------- When Rain visits the town of Felicitas in Final Fantasy Resonance, he meets an old acquaintance in the form of "Auntie Chloe". Chloe - herself a guest vision in FF Brave Exvius - is a trusted scholar in the employ of Grandshelt, recently tasked with investigating the kingdom's crystals. The lands surrounding Felicitas bear the highest concentration of buried crystals, so Chloe has opted to begin by studying the regional sediments. She asks for Rain's help in collecting various samples from the ground. In classical mythology, 'Chloe' is one of the common monikers of the goddess Demeter, patron of agriculture, the harvesting of crops, and fertility. She is the mother of Persephone and is said to have searched for her daughter after the latter was taken to the underworld by Hades, king of the dead. The ancient Greeks eventually called Hades 'Plouton', the ‘Wealthy One’, because they were afraid to speak his name aloud. The wealth in question was the precious minerals and gemstones that could be mined within the earth. Resonance's Felicitas - itself a mining town - shares a name with the Roman goddess of agricultural fertility, prosperity, and good fortune. It's therefore unlikely to be a coincidence that it is Chloe who is investigating buried crystals and who sends Rain in search of samples from the rich earth around Felicitas. And that doesn't even touch on the events at Kobolos...
