Raman was pitched as an LA Zohran. She’s not. She wont defend BDS. She can’t even explain what socialism is. It was wildly irresponsible of the chapter to endorse someone so ill prepared to represent DSA in such an important position.
Is L.A. mayoral candidate Nithya Raman a capitalist?

Since many are discussing the ongoing protests and revolts across the world and asking the question, “Why aren’t Americans doing anything like it?” I’ll answer these questions to the best of my knowledge and abilities. This is a multipart thread so check the replies.
And even then. The American government and system have made it very difficult over the last 100 years to organize and fight back. Many unions are conservative controlled and there aren’t enough organizers who would support any large scale protests and who’d be able to organize it
