Then I headed to Zion Baptist Church for an adolescent mental health fair put together by an exceptional young woman who recognizes the need to eliminate stigmas and provide education about this important issue.
Supporting communities is a team sport and I’m always heartened to see the many individuals and organizations dedicated to lifting up their neighbors.
Why does Trump so badly want Brinker Harding elected? Because he knows Brinker will support all of the destructive policies that are hurting Nebraskans.

Nebraskans deserve a healthy and dignified retirement. That's why I will always fight to protect and strengthen Medicare and Social Security.

At an event the other night, an 11 year-old girl asked me for my autograph. So I asked her for hers. I'm running because I want to fight for the community that has given so much to me. I recognize that our kids are watching and there’s power in being a “first.” I will always keep that front and center in every decision I make for our district.
It was a pleasure to be among so many wonderful candidates at the forum at the Hispanic Art Center of Omaha last night! Thank you to Rosa and Anna for moderating, to the Hispanic Art Center for hosting us, and to everyone who came out to listen and ask important questions.
Started my day at Omaha North High School chatting with voters as part of the Empowerment Network’s Raise the Vote event! Thanks to @EmpowerOmaha for giving candidates a chance to introduce themselves and connect!
