It’s safe to condemn Netanyahu for this, now @AlboMP @SenatorWong Will you??
Last night was one of the worst nights Gaza has seen. The bombs have never stopped raining down on them, and when the actual rain fell upon them, their tents flooded. So many missing limbs, all missing loved ones, most without homes. And the world just pretended it stopped. I didn’t even post an image with people this time because they’re sick of showing us images of themselves in desperation without action on our part. A reminder to you and me to not forget them because they’re no longer in your feed.

How insane is it that this type of petty bullshit is done with full cooperation and participation of the army
@IDF any comment?

I believe in a world where a Palestinian child and a Jewish Israeli child growing up in the Holy Land can look forward at their life and believe it is not going to be curtailed by somebody's violence.

We cannot turn a blind eye to the fact that there are children who do not go to school. We cannot silence our conscience when we see a mother lacking the means to feed her children. We cannot ignore the many people around us who are suffering, alone and vulnerable. We need to commit ourselves to the charity and closeness of the Good Samaritan who did not remain indifferent upon seeing misfortune, but took responsibility for his brother’s life.

At least 100% of the surveys that clearly set out the spending options have a majority wanting to be rid of #AUKUS.
‘…Pocock surveyed 1,300 of his followers between June and September, finding 80% of those who responded were strongly opposed to the defense agreement and 92% were concerned about parliamentary oversight and public consultation.
The survey was not a representative poll, and his team is conscious it has been impacted by selection bias, but the ACT politicians and the AUKUS inquiry have struggled to attract input from defense or government officials who might have used the forum to make the case for the acquisition of nuclear submarines….’

Why @AlboMP I know it’s complicated. We need you to at least ask
That may work. Let’s contact our local member.
Replying to @WilsonLain94316 @mazzie581
Our govt should be publicly pressuring Israel to let the emergency housing & other aid in immediately. And it might seem a little thing but we must call the offices of Albanese, Wong & local member tomorrow. Numbers talk. And they don’t like it.
It does sound stupid to keep this up
AUKUS is a $368B+ SCAM!
Professor Jeffrey Sachs:
"AUKUS is designed to bill the Australian taxpayers and enrich the US militarily industrial complex. You have been had Australia, sorry to tell you. And your politicians should own up."
Here's looking at you @RichardMarlesMP
Amazing. Love your work.
Shit. I am very uncomfortable with this.
Another senior elder of the Labor Party cries out for the Labor government to step back from the brink — and for all Australians to ‘Resist US bases!’
“Even in robust democracies these US military bases operate outside local democratic accountability, often according to rules and principles alien to the local population. And they rarely leave just because the host nation asks them to.”

Yep. It’s glaring. It was a Morrison shock. I woke up to it one morning. Thanks to this review we have a basis for sensible conversations.
Perhaps you might read this @AustralianLabor? Thousands of Labor voters have & thousands more have downloaded the report of the AUKUS inquiry.
It would be a good way forward Americans are getting the vibe to look after people. @AlboMP @JEChalmers @AustralianLabor
"In Australia, we subsidise the fossil fuel industry. We give more than half of the gas we export away for free, and we charge our kids a fortune to go to uni."

For the first time ever, China's solar power capacity has passed coal power capacity!
@mattjcan Take a look at your coal share portfolio.
HAHA
China builds solar farms everywhere it can, in deserts and even on water!
For the first time ever, China's solar power capacity has passed coal power capacity!
Solar is now the country's biggest source of electricity by installed capacity!
This is what happens when your country invests in infrastructures instead of funding wars!

Hasan Piker clarifies that if there’s one person who should be celebrating today, it’s Bernie Sanders. He single-handedly propped up various Progressive Democrats across the country and it seems that his tireless work is finally paying off.
Bernie paved the path for us all! @BernieSanders @SenSanders
