هذا يعني نحو 39 ألف شخص في كل كيلومتر مربع، أي نحو 26 متراً مربعاً فقط للفرد الواحد، وهي تشمل الشارع والسوق والمستشفى والخيمة معاً..
خيمة بجانب خيمة، ومياهاً شحيحة ملوثة، وصرفاً صحياً معدوماً، وهي بيئة تسهّل انتشار الأمراض المعوية والجلدية والتنفسية، ويعني أن من فقد بيته وعمله لا يملك ثمن الدواء ولا الغذاء، فيجتمع الفقر مع المرض.
ويعني أرضاً ضيقة لا تكفي لزراعة ولا صناعة، ومعابر مغلقة، فكيف يعيش الناس؟

Mijnheer De Gucht, ik begrijp dat u meer mensen aan het werk wilt krijgen. Maar hoe gaat u dat concreet aanpakken?
Onze Belgische economie stond in het tweede kwartaal van 2026 stil. 0,0% groei. NUL.
België heeft volgens de OESO de hoogste belastingwig op arbeid van alle 38 lidstaten: 52,5%.
En kijk eens naar de Vlaamse vacaturemarkt. In 2022 ontving VDAB nog 382.884 vacatures. In 2025 waren dat er 271.072 en over de laatste twaalf maanden tot september 2026 nog amper 237.953. Bijna 145.000 minder dan in 2022. Een daling van 38%.
Vlaanderen telde in de eerste negen maanden van 2026 al 5.142 faillissementen. Volgens de Nationale Bank verdwenen er op één jaar tijd 6.400 werknemersbanen, terwijl er 19.800 zelfstandigen bijkwamen.
En dan moet AI nog op kruissnelheid komen. Zolang arbeid zo zwaar belast blijft, wordt automatiseren voor bedrijven alleen maar aantrekkelijker.
U wilt 1,65 miljoen niet-actieven activeren. Prima, maar hoe gaat u dat realiseren wanneer onze economie stilstaat, de vacatures jaar na jaar dalen en bedrijven steeds voorzichtiger worden met aanwerven?
Ik hoor graag uw concrete plan, mijnheer De Gucht. Want mensen aan het werk willen krijgen is één ding. Ervoor zorgen dat er ook voldoende jobs zijn, is iets helemaal anders.

You are afraid because someone, very powerful, very expensive, needs you to be.

Imagine spending 66 years under an embargo imposed by a country 90 miles away that has tried to assassinate your head of state over 600 times.
