🚨 VDM SENDS POWERFUL MESSAGE TO THOSE WHO WANT THIS MOVEMENT TO FAIL They woke up angry. Angry that the Ratels were not teargassed. Angry that thousands of Nigerians gathered at Karu Bridge, chanted Bandits must go! T3rrorists must go! Kidn@ppers must go! and went home safely. Their plan for chaos failed so they turned to lies and fake stories. VDM addressed them directly. He shut down every "Tinubu must go" chant himself at that protest. He said this movement is not about politics. It is about b@ndits, t3rrorists and kidn@ppers who are destroying Nigeria. That is the only fight here. He also said some people believe a real protest must end with tear gas, police attacks and dramatic videos trending online. He rejected that completely. He said he will never put his people in harm's way for content and social media clout. That is why he ended the protest early. A pregnant woman was stuck in that traffic. People had emergencies and lives to live. He said your rights end where another person's rights begin. That is what real leadership looks like. The ₦100 million story and the fake military protection claims are propaganda from people who are terrified of how strong this movement has become. This movement is united by one goal... to see Nigeria change. No personal gain. No political ambition. Just the urgent fight to stop the k!ll!ng of farmers, the abduction of children and the beheading of teachers. To every Ratel...when VDM says go home, go home. Discipline is what separates a real movement from a riot. The next protest location is coming. Stay ready. They are angry we were not teargassed. That anger says everything. 🙌

This country will humble you. You wake up, you try to stay positive, you tell yourself things are moving. Then you see this and everything stops. Retired Major General Abubakar Rabe was k!dn@pped on May 30th in Matazu LGA, Katsina State while on his way to a wedding. He spent his entire career as the voice of the Nigerian Armed Forces. He briefed this nation on security operations for decades. And he d!3d in the hands of b@ndits. Yesterday those same b@ndits walked out of the forest, dropped his remains and walked back into the Matazu forest. Unchallenged. Unbothered. In broad daylight. Look at the pictures. Security personnel were right there mounting guard at the burial. The same people who could not stop those b@ndits from taking this man. The same forces that watched them walk back into that bush free. This is not a movie. This is Nigeria 2026. These people operate with a confidence that should terrify every single one of us. They know the terrain. They know the timing. And according to Sheikh Gumi, the government knows exactly who they are and where they are. At this point it is becoming very difficult to say he is wrong. A retired General d!3d in their hands and his k!ll3rs went home. What exactly is going on in this country?

Replying to @OyoPoliceNG
A detailed analysis of their digital footprints uncovered a structured surveillance operation, including photographs of the victim’s vehicles, school environment, daily routines, and lifestyle patterns, all used to profile and track the family prior to the attack. With these combined intelligence assets, operatives were able to positively identify the suspects’ hideout located at Lado community Ayegun Ibadan. On 6th June, 2026, at about 7:30 p.m., operatives of the FID-IRT, supported by other tactical teams of the Oyo State Police Command, stormed the identified hideout in a well-coordinated tactical operation aimed at rescuing the victims alive. However, upon sighting the advancing operatives, one of the gang members identified as "Kelechi," who had travelled from Lagos State and was positioned as a lookout, engaged the operatives in a gun duel. The operatives responded with superior tactical precision, resulting in the neutralization of Kelechi and another unidentified member of the gang. Following the successful clearance of the hideout, the kidnapped victims—Mrs. Adegoke Olaide Busayo and her twin sons, Peter and Paul—were rescued unhurt and immediately placed in protective custody before being reunited with their family. In continuation of mop-up and follow-up operations, the two principal suspects, Wale Abolalewa alias "Oloro" and Dare Oyedele alias "Solution," were taken into custody and are currently assisting investigators with critical information aimed at apprehending other fleeing members of the syndicate. Additionally, two other suspects identified as agents responsible for contracting and facilitating the use of the said criminal hideout were also arrested. They are Semiu Ishola, aged 39 years, and Adeyemi Ayobami, aged 35 years, and are currently in police custody assisting ongoing investigation. Exhibits recovered includes: 1.3 pump-action guns rifle 2.1 the unregistered ash-coloured Toyota Corolla used for the abduction 3.14 live Cartridges. 4.Criminal Charm 5.1 Battle Axe 6.1 Hammer 7.Substances suspected to be hard drugs 8.2 face-mask Investigations are ongoing, with intensified efforts to apprehend other fleeing suspects believed to have escaped with varying degrees of gunshot injuries sustained during the encounter with operatives. The Oyo State Police Command appreciates the Inspector-General of Police for his strategic leadership, operational support, and unwavering commitment to strengthening policing capabilities nationwide. The Command also expresses profound appreciation to the Oyo State Government for its continued support and collaboration in ensuring the safety and security of lives and property within the State. In light of the foregoing, the Command calls on members of the public, medical practitioners, private hospital operators, traditional bone setters, and other healthcare providers to promptly report any individual presenting with suspicious gunshot injuries or unusual medical cases to the nearest Police Station or security agency. Such information will be treated with utmost confidentiality. Furthermore, residents are strongly advised to remain vigilant and security conscious, and to promptly report any suspicious movement, unusual activity, strange persons, or security concerns within their communities. Timely, credible, and actionable information remains vital to effective crime prevention, detection, and successful law enforcement operations. The Oyo State Police Command reiterates its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property across the State and assures the public that all criminal elements will be relentlessly pursued, arrested, and brought to justice. A viral video claiming to show armed bandits operating in a forest in Ogun State has once again resurfaced online despite having been previously debunked by the Ogun State Police Command. The Command has repeatedly clarified that the footage is false, misleading, and has no connection whatsoever to Ogun State or any part of Nigeria. Yet, the same recycled video continues to be recirculated by individuals seeking to spread fear and misinformation. Our investigations and independent fact-checks established long ago that the video was recorded in Kenya during an operation involving cattle rustlers and was originally uploaded online in 2022. It is neither recent nor related to Ogun State. There is no intelligence, operational, or security report supporting the claims being made in the accompanying narrative. The Ogun State Police Command therefore reiterates, for the umpteenth time, that the video is fake and should be disregarded. The persistent recycling of already-debunked content serves no purpose other than creating unnecessary panic and undermining public confidence. Residents are advised to ignore the video, rely on official sources for security information, and refrain from sharing unverified content. We reassure all residents that Ogun State remains safe, peaceful, and secure.
PRESS RELEASE OGUN POLICE COMMAND DEBUNK VIRAL VIDEO ALLEGING PRESENCE OF ARMED BANDITS IN OGUN FOREST, DESCRIBE CONTENT AS FALSE, MISLEADING, AND RECYCLED FOOTAGE The Ogun State Police Command wishes to categorically refute a viral video currently circulating on social media, purportedly showing armed men operating within a forest in Ogun State. The Command states unequivocally that the video is false, misleading, and does not originate from Ogun State or any part of Nigeria. Preliminary findings and credible fact-checks reveal that the footage, which shows some individuals cooking in a bush setting, was recorded in Kenya during an operation involving cattle rustlers and was captured by a General Service Unit (GSU) drone. Further verification indicates that the video was first uploaded online in 2022 and has since been deliberately recirculated with a false narrative to create panic and misinform the public about the security situation in Ogun State. The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, FCSS, MNIPR, strongly condemns the spread of such unverified and deceptive content, noting that it is capable of causing unnecessary fear and undermining public confidence in security agencies. He emphasizes that there is no intelligence or operational report to support the claim of any such criminal presence within forests or any part of Ogun State. The CP reassures residents that the Command remains proactive and committed to ensuring the safety and security of lives and property through intelligence-led policing, strategic deployments, and sustained operational vigilance across the state. Members of the public are advised to disregard the viral video and its accompanying false claims, and to refrain from sharing unverified information capable of inciting panic or disrupting public peace. Citizens are further urged to rely only on official communication channels for credible and accurate security updates. The Commissioner of Police also urges residents to remain law-abiding and continue to support the Police with timely and credible information, warning that the spread of false information and inciting content will not be tolerated. Members of the public are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities through the Ogun State Police Command emergency lines: Gateway Shield (Toll-Free): 0800 000 9111 Emergency Lines: 0906 283 7609, 0912 014 1706, 0915 102 7369, 0708 497 2994 DSP OLUSEYI B.
