🔥 Know Your Flow: The Key to Effective Firefighting 🔥At Firehouse Training, we emphasize the importance of understanding your flow rate and the volume needed to fight high-rise fires, industrial fires, and electric vehicle fires. 🚒#IndustrialFireResponse #FirehouseTraining

In our recent training classes, we’ve been focusing on the importance of leaving larger diameter fire hoses on the ground to manage the weight of the water and nozzle reaction. 🌫️🔥#StayLowStaySafe #StayDry😆💦

🚒 Hose Management: Confidence in Every Step 🚒 Before the water flows, it’s critical to review the basics. Practicing hose management with dry hoselines ensures every firefighter is fully prepared to handle the challenges ahead.🧑‍🚒💪 #FirefighterTraining #HoseManagement

Consistent practice is the key to mastering hose movement in high-rise and industrial firefighting, like our sessions this past week in Mid-Western Ontario. The way we train is how we perform on the fireground. Proper body mechanics and strong teamwork, are essential.👩🏻‍🚒#HighRise

Door control is critical when making entry into a high-rise building during a fire, just like our crews are demonstrating during this weeks Firehouse Training night, in Huron County.🔥🏢💦 #HighRiseFirefighting #FireSafety #DoorControl #FirefighterTactics #OccupantSurvival

Shoutout to our friend Jeff from Task Force Tips for highlighting the importance of using a standpipe kit during high-rise fires. When firefighters access fire hose cabinets in high-rise buildings, having a standpipe kit ensures a reliable water supply. #TaskForceTips

During our recent training in Huron County, we focused on the importance of mastering hose stretch tactics specifically for high-rise and mid-rise buildings. We practiced how to effectively move nozzles and hoses through hallways and stairwells!🚒 #firetraining

Last night in Huron County, our Firehouse Training team ran an intensive high-rise and mid-rise firefighter training session, focusing on the different techniques for moving fire hose through buildings.💦#FirefighterTraining #HighRiseTactics #FirehouseTraining #TeamworkInAction

Last night’s Firehouse Training event in Midwestern Ontario, focused on mid-rise and low-rise firefighting tactics and fire protection systems. We discussed the critical thinking and decision-making involved in taking hose lines up multiple flights of stairs.🔥#Firefighting
