most people my age have it backward: they think after not committing to anyone for years, they will suddenly find the perfect life partner and turn it into a long-term relationship. the scary reality: we get good at whatever we do over a long time being in relationships is a SKILL most people living a non-commit lifestyle get better at: • hooking up • closing off emotionally • being casual and non-binding in short: they get really good at NOT being in a relationship and then they expect to suddenly work out how to do the complete opposite none of that will translate into long-term relationship skills if you don't practice it, YOU WILL SUCK
