After testing for a bit the Pale Citadel update is okay, I just wish that they had more than 3 bosses in the raid and didn’t cap damage at 10k a hit
here at hypixel skyblock we have it all
- accountability for updates (only for a week after negative feedback)
- competent developers (when making hoppity updates) (and even then like 50% of the time)
- excellent releases (if you wait a week and dont play the bad stuff)

slightly better alpha, not great though. Unconvinced that this short term reaction will mean anything in a few months. Hope the team commits to SBXP being less relevant, fixing up this update, and actually making some combat content, but I have doubts.

After reading the comment Refraction left today on @Derailious new video. I completely agree. The Magic Find update needs to be scrapped completely. Players should be encouraged to get creative with how they use their gear.
And skyblock xp needs to ditch stats and give cosmetics
goat had words about the update. Agreed. Really wish they went in a different direction with SBXP. More cosmetics / fun rewards rather than stats. He also brings up the negative impact on update design.

its funny how they’ve done a billion revamps to systems the last 6 months all in prep of new content but
- guardian slayer is a year late and likely shelved for the time being
- multiple “slayers” this year (not happening LOL)
- at least the raid is worked on
what are we doing
every year the team tells us we’re gonna get tons of fun new shit and then it all either gets cancelled (breach, GGL) or watered down (lotus atoll, torrhus canyon)
hard to be a believer in this game anymore. They give us nothing of value.
