Election guy here. I'm going to "live tweet" as I go through Trump's declassified election documents.
In his speech, Trump claimed the "deep state" was trying to coverup China's meddling in our elections. This is twisting what happened.
In his speech, Trump claimed the "deep state" was trying to coverup China's meddling in our elections, the nefarious actors blocked such evidence from going to into the PDB (Presidential Daily Brief). He's going to investigate, prosecute, and fire these people.
But the declassified documents show that there was no evidence of this. Yes, it was "blocked", but by people saying "there's no evidence".
This is the process of intelligence gathering and the PDB: factions want to their narratives to get in the document, while those producing the document clean things up, removing things that have no evidence.
If any Republican sees this, how are we better served by a government that - when it violates your rights - there’s increasingly not even a person around to answer the phone or email on the government’s side. Even when it’s the courts calling.
This thing is a *monster*.
It's been 150 days of Kavanaugh stops in America, and it just keeps getting worse, so I checked in with the justice to ask him if he's had second thoughts.
My request for comment did not elicit a response.

The transcript of the MN hearing where an AUSA said “This job sucks” is remarkable for more reasons than that. It’s a searing portrait of a crisis perpetrated by depraved & oblivious high-level officials. Read it all. ...

Trump wasn’t “removed from ballots by liberals.” Courts (presided over by judges appointed by both GOP and Dem officials) applied state law and the 14th Amendment. Trump, meanwhile, tried to throw out millions of lawful votes.
Trump absolutely tried to use the government against opponents. He demanded prosecutions, pressured the Department of Justice, fired officials who refused, and leaned on state officials to “find” votes. His cases came from grand juries and judges, not political rivals. Oh and he tried to blackmail Ukraine into getting dirt on his opponent.
Trump did censor speech. He called the press the enemy, threatened media licenses, and was ruled by courts to have violated the First Amendment by blocking critics from official accounts. Private platforms moderating content is not government censorship.
No one stole the 2020 election. Courts, audits, recounts, Republican officials, and Trump’s own Attorney General confirmed it. Trump tried to overturn it anyway.

We need the Gang of Eight to confirm they received access to the disclosure, and whether it was actually the full document. Our client deserves to be heard by Intel leaders (with protections in place) & they need to see the underlying intelligence. Government officials must conduct a full and complete investigation.
Bottom line: We have lost trust in the @ODNIgov.

Wanye is dicksuck for a political party that can’t even admit Americans that vote against them exist (every time a Repub loses its fraud!), and wants to claim it’s liberals who can’t mental model others.

No one who watched that video today thinks Renee Good used her car as any kind of weapon. They don’t at all. They’re lying to piss you off for engagement and gas up their dipshit followers. Ignore it and when a time comes where they ask for sympathy don’t give it.

Rep Don Bacon is outright lying — senate Dems did not vote to kill the filibuster. No such vote ever happened.
Erick is right. All but two Senate Dems voted to kill the filibuster during the Biden Administration. Senators Manchin & Sinema saved it. Senate Dems would love to see the government opened w/out voting for it. And, when in the majority they’d pass tons of left wing legislation without needing a single GOP vote.
Note: Repub presidents are allowed to engage in politically motivated prosecutions because republicans are conspiracy theory brained weirdos who, sans evidence, claim that dem presidents already did politically motivated prosecutions.
Hopeful for the below
From me: While Trump & Pam Bondi turn the Justice Department into a retribution delivery system, her chief of staff resigned suddenly after 9 months on the job, likely because of a quiet but growing corruption scandal that represents a real risk for DOJ. prospect.org/justice/2025-09…

Several things can be true at the same time: (1) Political violence is never acceptable and needs to be condemned in the strongest terms, (2) Political violence must not be the pretext for silencing political speech, (3) It’s more important than ever to push back against autocracy, especially because there is no velvet glove on this fist, and, (4) This is not the moment to stop calling fascism “fascism”.
In other words: Don’t let your decency be weaponized against you.

1/4. On the White House’s theory, if they abduct you, get you on a helicopter, get to international waters, shoot you in the head, and drop your corpse into the ocean, that is legal, because it is the conduct of foreign affairs.

On the left, the video posted on Twitter where 'random winner' and Russian national Ekaterina Diestler explains how she got $1 million to vote after doing what she was told by Musk.
"My name’s Ekaterina Deistler," she said in a video. "I did exactly what Elon Musk told everyone to do: sign the petition, refer friends and family, vote, and now I have a million dollars."
On the right, the doctored version of the video posted AFTER Musk's group deleted the original video, where they edited out the word 'vote'
