Commissioner Mo Ivory injected the typical liberal/Democrat Party venom into the conversation; RACE .. "I am the mother of five Black kids, I am a Black woman ... " LADY, this is not about race. It is about equity in the criminal justice system.
If Fulton County's criminal justice system was not segregated based on gay and straight then this diversion programs would be more fair and equitable. Straight people disproportionately are not offered diversion - they are booked into jail! PERIOD!
If diversion programs were effective, then more individuals impacted by the criminal justice be advocatingsystem would for them AND would know about them. I have NEVER heard about the Justice Policy Board!
So apparently Atlanta Mayor @andreforatlanta wants his girlfriend to fill the vacant council seat he formerly held. I think NOT! What a way to grease the mayor's influence over councils legislative process/quid pro quo! Not interested.
The ATL Human Relations Commission is political. It has been defunct since about 2020 when @KeishaBottoms gutted the entity and left it lifeless!
Sitting in City of ATL Human Relations Commission meetings and listening to the Mayors Staff talk about the process for reviewing charges of discrimination! The problem is the Office of Constituent Services and the Mayors Office being involved! The "alleged offender." 🤣✌️
