It's been almost a week since i came to San Francisco from Ethiopia
Here is everything I shipped so far:
* crncl.app : an app to make building in public easier
* tryswol.app : gamified fitness and nutrition
* farline.app : stay close to your bae when you are doing long distance
* learnconvex.vercel.app : a site that maps out how convex delivers a reactive database with modules and graphs and much more
* learndeeply.vercel.app : you've heard of paste a GitHub link, reverse engineer anything. I give you paste a GitHub link, understand anything!
* agentglimpse.vercel.app : keep track of everything your remote and cloud agents are doing across Claude, Codex, OpenCode and more
Went to events at:
* @convex
* @Cloudflare Connect
* @AWS Builder Loft
* @salesforce park
And this is only the beginning 😤 if you are in sf and you are building something cool I would love to talk.
turned 23 today.
if you’re also in your early 20s trying to build something out of nothing, we’re probably gonna get along.
my twin brother (@yeab2k) and i just turned 23 today, and we’re giving ourselves one year to build our own products, hit $10k MRR, and make it to san francisco before we turn 24.
he’s a developer, i’m a designer, and we’re both dropouts.
we have 365 days to make this happen, and we’re going to document the entire journey, the wins, the failures, everything here.
day 1 starts today. follow along and let’s see if we can actually pull this off

4 days ago I packed a bag and left Ethiopia to come to the U.S.A
Yesterday I landed in San Francisco with a one way ticket. Still determined to change my life in the 3 months that I have here.
I am spending my days going to events and meeting as many devs as I can. I'm spending my nights building my face off.
I couldn't be more excited. Time to chase dreams
Update: I am going to San Francisco!!
I just spent the better half of my 3 month budget on one trip to The City
I know that sounds irresponsible but when @waynesutton, head of community and events at convex sends you an invite and it's in two days, you make the trip!

We built Strava for focus 🔥
Track focus sessions, block distracting apps, and lock in right from your Mac’s menu bar or any OS with Nuzz.
try it: nuzz.space
what if the safest place to store your files was underground?
i’m building a minecraft-inspired file storage app where you dig into a world, bury your files, and literally have to dig them back up to access them.
no cloud. your files stay on your own device. basically, digital privacy but with a shovel.

I just built an app to make my Long distance relationship easier (and my girl doesn't know about it)
My biggest struggle last time I left the country was forgetting to call my girlfriend back home.
Farline takes you and your partners timezones and busy times into consideration to automatically plan phone calls for you. It discreetly puts them in your calendar at times that don't look planned or suspicious hehe
my twin brother built an app and got 1,000 users
it’s called Nuzz. a social app that lets you focus with friends instead of fighting distractions alone.
Check out nuzz.space
We killed Pomodoro timers.
Nuzz turns focus into a social experience. Track your sessions, build streaks, block distractions, compete with friends, and lock in alongside people working toward their own goals.
It’s live today. Try it free
