With 2 weeks to go until the #ColU kits are launched, it's time for my annual kit design exercise. This year, I would lean massively into the Roman heritage of the town, something we don't often do, specifically the Roman mosaics found in the town
The #ColU away kit would hero the mosaic aesthetic, but with design features celebrating the county of Essex, the cross of St Helena, Colchester's patron Saint, and the club's Roman eagle. The badge would be a stylised eagle only with the clubs founding year in Roman numerals.

The step regression of the UK's underclass is just so depressing.
I am 51 and as a football obsessed kid in the late 70s, 80s and 90s, I witnessed a clear reduction in the racist bullshit in football.
Genuine, serious progression.
Now, I'm not naive enough to think that the racists went away or changed their views, but it became an unacceptable trait within the game and things changed so much for the better.
Now, in 2026, with the rise of Reform UK and Ruprecht's Restore, we see these vile characters, openly espousing racism again.
Taking pride in their bigotry. ☹️

What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join?
Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense.
I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.
Hey @UmActuallyShow, in your S11 question about Ted Lasso you stated he joined the "British Premier League", when such a league doesn't exist! It's actually the "English Premier League" as the Football Associations are divided amongst England, Scotland, Wales, N. Ire, & Ireland

It's home kit speculation season for #ColU fans. Here's a few designs because i'm bored waiting for news of the takeover. First one is a prediction based on the latest Macron templates...
