the forbidden door match is better but this is a classic in every way. ospreay being the underdog here with kenny being the despicable heel ospreay had to climb over. and that blade ospreay does along with his comeback later in the match is the stuff of legends. what a match.

Says something about Kenny Omega (and his confidence) to not out-right demand a title match due to his legacy and status, but to be willing to earn it in a non-title 3-way. Omega knows he's bringing a westernized stipulation to a New Japan ring in the process (something he is used to doing), and in Omega's mind, that's going to give him ANOTHER leg up despite having 2 opponents. I really wish we could have heard from Boltin Oleg before Omega's attack, as Boltin's on the precipice of something great this year. I'm really excited to hear official confirmation of what's to come.
