Hey everyone, time for a health update.
My cancer is back. I have a lump near my incision scar from the first surgery. They took a biopsy and it tested positive. Thankfully, it seems to be isolated to that area. I’m going to be doing an aggressive three-month round of chemo as well as targeted monoclonal antibody therapy. If this is successful, hopefully they should be able to operate and remove it. The doctors are hopeful, I am hopeful, and I’m ready to fight.
Chemo starts in two weeks. I’d been planning on donating my hair to make wigs for cancer patients, but it hasn’t grown long enough yet. Guess I’ll have to start over!
Thanks to everyone who’s been praying for me, checking in, and lending support. I appreciate all of you so much!
