@DevTogetherChi has been the most fun event I've been part of, as well as the most educational. Thanks to @mercedescodes for organizing, and all of the sponsors for making it a success!

Also it’s expected that you negotiate. They might not give you what you ask for, but they won’t hate you for asking.

Re: offer. It's ok to take an offer when you need it. If you're in the amazing position to be choosy, @ZekeNierenberg recommends prioritizing the culture and learning over money. But compensation is a reality, you know your reality best. Its ok either way. #DevTogether

Hey you.
I know you didn't apply for that job because you met some of the requirements, but not all of them.
Don't do that, please! Apply for the job, and leverage your network to see if you can get in touch with someone who works there.
You got this!

A2. Basically, time.
Time when I need advice. Time to explain things to me. Time when I need to vent.
Mentoring takes time and is an investment but it's time we'll spent.

A1. No matter how much experience we get, we could always use a Mentor. There’s always something to learn!
As a Mentee, I look for a Mentor who has experienced what I'm looking into and is welcoming, open and patient.

I hear the best mentors are the ones who just succeeded at doing the thing. I like to provide mentorship on getting that first Dev job and providing support for folks in the community. Always available for discussing full stack development, bootcamps, and conferences!

A3) #javascript (ES6) -- would lv to be presented with lines if code and then talk through them. This would help me bridge the gap between JS in isolated tutorials examples and longer runs of JS with multiple methods, functions, etc.
