[His lips curved into a smile as she had said she missed him as well and that it'd be good to see him.] Good to hear you missed me too. What drink should I have waiting for you?

He thought for a minute about if it should be the penthouse or bar. He had a personal bar in his penthouse so he decided that'd be best.] An hour sounds good. Meet me in the penthouse. It'll be quieter and an easier place to talk without getting interrupted by people. --

[Lucifer nodded his head even though she couldn't see him. He was surprised it'd only take her an hour. Usually it took women what seemed like hours before being able to go anywhere. --

He wrapped his fingers around his glass once more and brought it to his lips and took another swig as he listened to the phone ring. He knew if it was Sam he would protect her from the police.]

He had heard earlier in the day that there had been a murder and he thought he might know who was causing it but he couldn't be sure. He didn't want to jump to conclusions. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed the number he had for her. 》》

He slid onto the seat. With his fingers wrapped around the glass he brought it to his lips taking a swig. He set the glass back on the bar. 》》

Lucifer was the devil afterall. He may have changed but he was one to put friends above all else. Lucifer was behind the bar at Lux pouring himself a glass of Bourbom. He walked back around to the other side of the bar pulling out a stool. 》》

He was able to protect those he cared about by keeping the police out of the way at times. He always tried to help the police solve the crimes but every now and then he'll cover up crimes or lead the team in the wrong direction leaving cases unsolved. 》》
