John MacLean had a hand in all 5 #NJDevils goals (2G, 3A) in a 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs in Toronto on Oct. 23, 1989. But this tilt is more memorable for the combined 166 penalty minutes & the goalie fight between Sean Burke & Mark LaForest.

Claude Lemieux & Keith Jones received misconduct penalties at the 20:00 mark of the 3rd period in the #NJDevils' 6-3 win over the Capitals on Oct. 8, 1993. It was the Devils' 2nd straight victory on their way to a 7-0 start.
They are in contact a lot. All of the USA guys. They talk A LOT about A LOT of things. 😉
I asked @NJDevils Jack Hughes if he'd communicated with Connor Hellebuyck after the trade was initially announced. #NJDevils @sportsology
"Yeah, I mean, obviously just texting him and talking to him. But (it's) so early on. I know his family's still back in Michigan and I'm sure he'll get settled in.
"We go on the road for a week in a couple days, so I'm sure, over the next few weeks, he'll get settled in and comfortable and start to figure it out."
